Crowd levels vs. avg.-anyone there last summer?

When I was there last summer, a few days after the big July 17th bash, it was unbelievably crowded. For anyone who was there around that time, and also been there other summers, how "typical" were the crowds? I'm kind of hoping that they were much higher than the typical July because of the Anniversary, because I'd like to go again and it would have to be in the summer. But the crowds were just unbelievable! I went looking for Dole Whips and Frozen Lemonade around 5:00pm-everywhere was sold out. If I didn't eat lunch by 11:00, forget it! By 11:15, lines everywhere were just soooo long. I wanted to eat at River Belle Terrace, but whenever I went there, it was packed. I went to Splash Mountain-there was a 10 minute wait-to get a FP! Can I expect crowds like this every summer?

We were at DLR on July 8,9,10, 12 and 13. It was cool for the first 3 days and then the 12th and 13th were packed and HOT!!! It was crazy! Didn't stop us though we love it too much!!
