Does anyone know what the crowd levels will be for the week of January 19, 2008.... Thank you in advance. I had the Unofficial guide but sold it on ebay not knowing we were going again for a while.

TIA ~

It will be VERY busy your first few days since it is MLK Jr. Holiday on the
21st. After that it will be very empty. I've been at the end of Jan. a couple of times (including Jan. 08!) and like that it's so empty. Make sure to pack for the weather, I always need jeans & a sweatshirt - & sometimes a coat - at this time. Of course, I get cold when it drops under 65!

Thank You. We were there at Christmas time in 2006 and the crowd levels were 9 & 10 but we managed to navigate pretty well thru all that.

It's going to be a nice change from that ! :yay:

It's the best time :thumbsup2
the parks are great & maximum wait time 30 min :yay: or if it was posted for any longer :hourglass we would try later or during EMH

the weather can be cool  but it's better than snow! :cold:

but I remember going to BB twice :beach:

Last year we went the last week of Jan. the UG predicted crowd level of 4 &5's. We did not have any waits and rode most rides more than once. The only ride we had a long wait(:scared1: 45min) was Soarin, regrettably we did not listen to the UG. We followed the UG the rest of the trip even with low crowd levels and did not run into any further problems.

:beach:

Thanks for all the responses. How cool are we talking about ? Coats, and mittens, and hats ? Or long sleeves and sweatshirt ?

TIA~

It really depends on where you are from. We are from Mich. and found the weather refreshing. Most people did not come out until later in the day because of the cold mornings. That left the park open to all of us snow birds. Most mornings and evenings we wore jeans and a spring jkt. In the afternoon you could find us by the heated pool in our swim suits sipping cocktails in the sun:beach: .

Shhhhh.....don't let out the secret. We hit AK on a rainy morning and had to wait to fill up the jeep on the safari. Those cold and rainy morinings are the best!

Great time of year! We went the 20-27th of this year and had a great time. Low crowds and nice weather. We had a couple of misty days, which kept attendance even lower, and a few cold nights with hats and mittens, but we had a great time! We even had a couple of days to swim it got into the high 70's. We would go that time of year again!

OOOOHHHH!! I am sooooo excited:cool1: We are going the 26th and are expecting low crowd levels. we usually go in Dec. and have jeans and t's with jackets for evenings-some times adding a hat and gloves. I can't wait. we are making this a surprise trip--we have never been in Jan. The crowd level was the main reason for backing it up to Jan-I hope it's as great as I am planning it to be!:cloud9:

Long sleeves and sweatshirts. From late morning to mid afternoon long sleeves are fine. In fact, with any luck, short sleeves may be OK. But for early morning and late afternoon/evenings a light jacket or a sweatshirt will prove useful. The weather here in January isn't bad, but it's not Miami beach either.
