It was kind of crowded (for October) at MK on Saturday the 7th, but we were able to hit everything we wanted since they were open until midnight. We stayed from 9:30am to 11:15pm, judiciously using FP and a break on Tom Sawyer Island (possibly why we had a meltdown-free day), and never waited for anything more than 15 min (POTC at 10:45pm or so). The only things we didn't do were SpaceM, Dumbo, Stitch, Prezs, and Bears, and we did Buzz twice and TTA twice (once day, once night) and Goofy's Barnstormer 5 times.
Buzz FP goodness-- 2-3 minutes.
I think a large part of the crowd was foreign tour groups. Are tour operators in foreign countries pushing October now as the time to go? It's been our favorite ttg, but we may switch to January if the crowds keep increasing.
DMGM wasn't very crowded on Sunday the 8th, except for RRR and the Lights/Cars show as usual. Everything else we did was nigh walk-on or FP walk-on. TowerT FP goodness -- 0 minutes wait.
Epcot wasn't as empty as previous Octobers, but wasn't "crowded" on Tuesday the 10th. More foreign tour groups, but not as many evident as at MK. I just hate to be behind a crowd of 40 people following a flag-bearer and have them go into the Electric Umbrella, when that is where we were (were) headed to eat, arrrgggh. The usual crowds milled around Soarin', TestT, and TurtleT, but FP nailed the first two with minimum wait (5-10min) and wise choice of when to go nailed TurtleT for us with 5-10min wait. We skipped the Living with the Land since its FP was off. Soarin' FP goodness-- 5-10 minutes.
AK on Wednesday the 11th was about as crowded as last year, and packed around EE, but was awesomely empty for late extra magic hours (5pm-8pm), with lots of walk-ons (this is the time you see the soaking wet kids who have just ridden Kali River Rapids 5 times straight

). Well, except for EE, which was packed, of course. Longest wait of the day was 5-10 minutes in Safari FP line a little after 10am. EE FP goodness-- 2 minutes.
