Crowd in September?

I am so excited to hear this about low crowds at this time of year I will be there 9/23 - 9/28. First time going solo. But, will be meeting 7 other ladies. By solo, I mean none of my family is going. I have never been at this time of the year. Thanks for the crowd info.....

Thank goodness for this thread! We planned a last-minute trip for 9/15-9/22. We were able to book ADR's for each day and the MNSSHP, also. I was stunned that there were no rooms available for value/moderate resorts, though. After reading this, it makes sense! We were thinking that it would be a lot more crowded than we hoped for!

We are flying down on 9/16 and staying until 9/22. We have some ADR's scheduled already. I don't quite understand how we will keep the dining stuff straight with five adults, but we'll see! I am hoping for not too many crowds, so we can see everything well!

Thanks for reading! I just got back, and crowds were good. It was a bit more crowded than last year, but it was still great. Low to no waits!

I'm not sure what's going on over there. We took the walkway to the left and came out past the wall. I believe that's the front of Rose and Crown right near the wall.

I just got back. We were there Sept 22 through Oct 1st. Other than the normal morning "lulls" (same as the summer), Sept felt like June or July in all the parks. Wait times were much less, but I still didn't see ANY of this "slow" september that people keep talking about.

We were there last week also. I agree... I found it VERY VERY crowded. But wait times were low for the most part.

We've been going in Sept since 2005- 2005 there was no waits no lines - we went Mid Sept - Sept 2006 we had to at the end of Sept to Oct 2 b/c DB job it was jam packed - this Sept 2007 15-22nd - it was crowded but for the most part we had no waits for anything

I was just at WDW from 9/26 to 9/30 and the longest we waited for any ride was about 20 minutes. That was only because the ride was experiencing technical difficulties when we were in line. Other than that we only waited about 10 minutes for everything else. We never even needed to use a FP. That was during the weekdays though...we avoided the parks on Sat/Sun. We noticed that SSR was really vacant the first two nights, but then Friday night, the parking lot by the Grandstand was FULL!

According the the Exif data on your photos (info embedded in the image), These were all taken at 11:30 in the evening. I'd expect low crowds at this time, but all the sunlight!?! You may want to adjust your camera's clock.

I didnt know that the time could be accessed. Since I dont use the time stamp on my pictures, I didnt bother to set it, since I dont need it. I did indicate approx. what time I took them above the pics.
