We will be in California for a few days in June and a 1 day ticket left on our WDW pass so was possibly thinking of using it at DL on June 27th. I have read some of the threads here on predicting crowds and based on those I am thinking it may not be a good idea and we should just plan something else that day. The 27th is a Sunday which, I assume, will be busy but the AP thing with the blockout days confuses me a little since I'm used to WDW.

Totally up to you. Just keep this in mind that schools around this time are now getting out for the summer and families are starting to flock to Disneyland. Also just over 2 weeks before is the premier of the new World of Color show that everyone is so hyped up about. That alone is going to bring in the crowds. I predict this summer to be even more chaotic then previous years just for that reason alone. Honestly all I can suggest to you is that if you do decide to go to Disneyland that day, look into Ridemax, and take advantage of Fast Passes.
