I'm planning a DL trip for my sister's family in June and the the crowd calendars are really confusing to me. Here are the dates:

- 6/2 Fri: Socal Select AP Blackout, Grad Nite at CA
- 6/3 Sat: Socal & Select & Deluxe APs Blackout, Grad Nite at CA
- 6/4 Sun: Socal Select AP Blackout
- 6/5 Mon: No AP blackouts

Here's what various crowd calendars say for those dates:

Touring Plans
6/2 Resort 6, DL 6, CA 6
6/3 Resort 7, DL 7, CA 6
6/4 Resort 7, DL 5, CA 8
6/5 Resort 8, DL 7, CA 8

RMH Travel
6/2 Resort 5.1, DL 5, CA 5.3
6/3 Resort 5.1, DL 6.3, CA 4
6/4 Resort 6.3, DL 6.1, CA 6.5
6/5 Resort 6.6, DL 7.1, CA 6.1

Undercover Tourist
6/2 Resort 6
6/3 Resort 6
6/4 Resort 7
6/5 Resort 7

Is It Packed
6/2 Forget About It
6/3 Forget About It
6/4 Yup, It's Packed
6/5 Yup, It's Packed

Quite a few differences there! 3 of the 4 indicate Sunday and Monday are busier. First of all, I would assume that Friday and Saturday, especially with Grad Nite (heard lot's of horror stories about the crowds and especially the language), would be the busiest. But then there are no AP blackouts on Monday.

I'm trying to plan their DL/CA times and dining and hotel (GC) times so as to avoid the crowds as much as possible. Which crowd calendars are more accurate? Which days would you spend in which park, and what is the best time(s) for hotel pool/relaxing? Also, is it safe to assume all the GC pools will be open by then?

Any help from you experienced folks would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'd just go with the assumption it's going to be packed and plan from there...there is no real "off season" anymore.

I don't think crowd calendars are very accurate anymore. Disneyland is always busy, there is no off season anymore. Kids start getting out of school at the end of May, so from then on I would say it will be very busy! If you plan for that and it's not as crowded, then bonus!!! :)

Fair enough. Thanks.

But based on those dates, would you expect Friday & Saturday to be busier or Sunday & Monday?

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say Friday and Saturday will be absolutely the worst due to the Grad Nite crowds. I would expect Sunday to be a bit chiller with no grad nite and the Socal blackout. Sunday mornings always seem to be fairly chill, so I'd absolutely target Sunday as a key day to go at rope drop and get stuff done. Monday with none of the APs blacked out, I would expect a good sized crowd. But yea, completely a guess, but I'm going to assume Friday and Saturday will be REALLY bad, and Sunday/Monday will be not as bad.

Thanks. That's close to my guess as well.
