Crowd and height questions

Hi everyone! We were thinking about visiting USF/IOA for one day in either late May or early June, hopefully during the week (avoiding Memorial Day weekend). How are crowds during that time? Similar pattern to Disney's? Will we need to purchase the Universal Express Pass to avoid outrageous lines at that time of year?

Also, my son is 48" tall. Which rides at USF and IOA would he NOT be able to ride due to his height?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! :teeth:

Your son can't ride Dueling Dragons, Dr. Doom, or Hulk. I think everything else is OK. I don't know whether or not you'll need to purchase EP. We went early June last year and it wasn't too busy. Good luck!

I just came up with one more question: does Universal/IOA have the "kid swap" that Disney has-if two parents have a child that cannot ride because of height restrictions, can the 1st parent ride after waiting in line and then "Swap" out with the other parent with little/no wait for the 2nd parent?

We have two younger children that cannot ride many things at both parks due to height requirements and child swap is a must for us!

I think that's all the questions for now! :teeth:
