This area as a whole is an absolute goldmine for restaurants of all kinds and is well worth checking out. The Crossroads plaza itself is immediately opposite Hotel Boulevard to Downtown Disney and consists of a shopping centre either side of the big (24hr) Goodings supermarket (a bit on the expensive side - try the Winn-Dixie further up the road), plus the Jungle Jim's restaurant at one end, TGI Friday's at the other, with a new Buffalo Wild Wings Bar & Grill in the middle (where Barnie's Coffee used to be). Grouped around the plaza in various one-off locations are Chicago Uno Pizzeria & Grill, Red Lobster, Taco Bell, McDonald's, Chevy's, Paesano's Italian restaurant and Pebbles. There is also a Waffle House and Perkins restaurant on the right as you approach the Crossroads turnoff.
Head back out on to SR 535 (Apopka-Vineland Road), which is the main road going past Hotel Boulevard (until it intersects with Palm Parkway and Winter Garden-Vineland Rd, when 535 turns left) and there is even more choice. There is another plaza on the left further along Apopka-Vineland with the excellent Dragon Court buffet Chinese restaurant, and IHOP and a brand new Mexican bar & grill (haven't tried it yet!). On the right is a Black Angus steakhouse and an Olive Garden (old style), plus a Denny's. Turn left at the junction and you find the Orlando Ale House several people have mentioned (this is our 'local' and one of the best places to watch live sport!).
Turn right onto Palm Parkway and there is another big plaza, almost tucked away on the right hand side (and with one end facing on to I-4 so you can see the restaurants like the Crab House and Hooters here). There is a decent Indian restaurant (India Palace), a Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, another Angus Steakhouse (but not as good as the Black Angus variety), the Fortune Court (Chinese), a Pizza Hut and a Cuban restaurant (Havana Cafe, not known to us).
Continue over the junction on Apopka-Vineland and you find yet more (and some of the best, in our opinion). Here there is a Chili's, Shoney's, Macaroni Grill (one of our fave's) and Joe's Crab Shack (on the left) and, on the right (in another plaza), there is Giordano's (great pizza), Steak n Shake (the best milkshakes on the planet

), a Sizzler and a Miami Subs.
All in all, it is a huge choice BUT don't count on getting in to any of them without a wait from 5.30-7.30pm each evening - this is BUSY territory!
And that's before you consider any of the restaurants in Hotel Boulevard itself and the great choice at the Hyatt Grand Cypress, just past the Orlando Ale House.......!!
