Some can be pretty ugly yes I know, but they were a lifesaver on my last trip back in 2008 as when it rained it didn't make much difference if they got wet. I haven't worn them since that visit!
Anyhoo my questions are directed to croc wearers!
Where is the best place to buy them? From your experience what is the story with the sizes... I ask this as I'm hoping to just purchase them online for mum and myself and not have to trek to Dublin to the croc shop to try them on etc
And is there a huge difference in size between different styles?
39 days to go woohoooo!!!
Thanks a mill!!

I am wearing Crocs right now. I realise that they are the fashion equivalent of committing hara-kiri but they are so damn comfy. I usually buy mine from Amazon or Javari.

I genuinely HATE Crocs, but when at WDW, all bets are off! :rotfl2:
I usually get mine at the Florida Mall when we get there because they have some not so wretched styles and they're cheaper.

I have just got back from Florida and my Crocs flip flops were only ever off my feet when I was in bed! I have all sorts of foot problems but the Crocs were a lifesaver this trip.

I have a pair of the 'ugly' ones too, but didn't take them this time.

Having looked at the prices over in Florida this trip, I think that you can get them over here in the UK cheaper if you sniff out a deal.

I got both my pairs in the UK on the internet through deals. Didn't pay more than a tenner for either pair. Am on the lookout now for another pair of flipflops.

Sizewise I am a UK 4 and both pairs fit me equally well.

Ditto here! I hate the cayman style ones, but there are others as well. I have a collection of 5 pairs of mary janes in various colours which are my Disney shoes. They don't seem to make the original style any more but last year I added a pair of Cali mary janes to my collection and they were SO comfortable!

I used to by them from Sportsdirect but they seem to be a bit harder to find now unless you want the 'ugly' ones. Last year I bought my Cali's from DE shoes online on a sale. Just take note of the reviews when you are buying online as the older crocs were always on the large side but I ordered a size up last year on the recommendations/reviews and I would have had to return them had I gone with my own size.

I have bought crocs in Florida (you can order them on Amazon.com to be delivered to your resort) but don't order them as your new shoes to wear for the trip. I find that with the cross strap, which I need to have to avoid losing shoes ha ha, the little disc that connects the straps rubs on the underside of the bridge of my foot and can and will cause a nasty blister

These were my first MJ's bought in 2009. I still have them although they are very well worn now and I'm gutted that they don't make exactly the same style anymore so I continuously search and if I see anyone selling out old stock, I buy them :D They are SOOOOO comfy!

We got crocs in orlando premuim outlet last year. Also there is a crocs shop at orlando airport

Crocs shop at Florida Mall always gets a visit from us on each trip (at least one visit per trip, lol)

Do you have Big Lots? Ours always has odd color/size combos during the summer months for $10-15 a pair. DH get's laughed at when he wears his hot pink ones but he doesn't care... "real men wear pink" as he says :rotfl:

Sometimes I have to look hard because they are mixed in with the generic "croc like" shoes, but it's worth looking for them for the great price. I even found a pair of Mickey Mary Jane crocs for DD one year.

I love my crocs :lovestruc

I have one pair of the crocsband clogs then I also take my crocs wedges for evening wear and yes I have walked world showcase in them more than once ;)

Last trip I bought a pair of these:Adrina Flats and they were so comfortable and cool.

I usually buy all my crocs out there either at the Florida Mall or at the Vineland road Premium Outlets.

I have Crocs Jayna slingbacks. I don't think they look too bad at all and they are super comfy. I find that buying a size smaller than my actual size works for me as my normal shoe size in Crocs were huge on me! :)

I bought a pair of the Shayna stye crocs and wore them for the entire 10 days we were at WDW, I LOVED them...somehow I never wore them again in the UK.

I bought my first crocs 6 or 7 years ago for two Disney holidays.
However whilst I still have a pair around the house I don't wear them outside.
I think in the UK they look a bit chavvy as people started buying cheap ones.
Am I right in thinking its still ok to wear crocs in Florida. Also would it still be Ok for a teenage boy to wear them. He loved crocs but wouldn't be seen dead wearing them now in the UK.
Would he and the rest of us get away with it in Orlando?

Crocs wouldn't get you or your DS a second glance at WDW, no matter age/gender. My kids, while certainly younger than yours, don't want anything but their Crocs in the parks. I usually switch between Crocs and fitflops. DH switches between Crocs and running shoes, but usually the Crocs are his preference.:thumbsup2

My 14 year old only wears trainers that cost me ugly money at home. He wears crocs at WDW and trust me, he wouldn't be seen dead in them at home.

Thank you that's reassuring. My 17 year old may make me take photos of him from ankles up but I can live with that.
Just ordered a new pair for me off Amazon cleo 3 style rather than my old clog style. In a raspberry colour .look nice. I may even wear them over here for everyday wear.

Thanks a million for all the replys!! Think after reading these ill go a size up and hope for the best, better a little too big in the florida heat than too small!

As I said in my previous post, check reviews because depending on the design of the Croc, the older styles (and some new ones) you actually need to go a size down.

The MJ's posted above are the discontinued ones but you can still find them here and there, with very limited choice in sizes and colours. They do have a newer style similar, which is the Shayna if that helps you with your search. The ones I have were very large cut and I took a smaller size. The reviews on the Shayna recommend that you go one up :)

Oh no , after years of declaring I'd never wear the ugly things (Caymen Crocs) I discovered the Mary Jane ones and now have 3 pairs (1 pair inherited from DD17 who wouldn't be see dead in them now -but thought they were OK for waterparks etc when 14!).

They should last another year :goodvibes

T K Maxx had some lovely Crocs in stock in a nautical theme or bright yellow flat ones or peep toe flats in silver navy or a dark stone / khaki colour.. For about £22 to £28 not a bad price for last years styles. Unfortunately they are too narrow for my feet but could be useful to someone else.
