My wife and I were thinking of getting mickey crocs for the kids to wear in disney, I have heard a lot of people say they are comfortable. Would they be better off with them or a good pair of sneakers? going oct 08

I think it depends on how old your kids are. I have pretty much worn only crocs for the past 3 years. I love them and have lots of them, but I wouldn't let my toddlers wear them. I think young kids need to have a better support type shoe for all the walking. My DD who is 12 wears them and I think it fine and she finds them very comfortable, but if she were under 6, I would have her wear a better support shoe.

We alternate. They usually wear their tennis shoes in the morning. In the evening, when I don't think we walk as far, I'll let them wear their crocs.

We do both as well. We wear sneakers for the first part of the day and then after naps/rest we switch to crocs or sketchers. My kids do not complain at all about their feet when they have their sneakers on. We will have a stroller with us so I may take the crocs along for water rides/play.

im going in sept, and i was intrested in buying the ones with mickey on them, are they available in Disney, and in what park? and to they have them in adult and child sizes???

My family and I always wear sneakers. No crocs for us. My children all own a pair of crocs, but at Disney, we wear our sneakers. We do ALOT of walking, and sneakers are usually the best shoe to help prevent foot cramps and leg aches.

Athough I have allowed my son to wear his crocs at Disney in the past, I think sneakers are a better choice. Crocs can slide off easily if your child is running or even getting on and off a ride. We are currently trying to keep my son's toenail from completely falling off(atleast until the new one grows in) because he wore his crocs to a park, they slipped off and he got his toenail caught and ripped it halfway across(not down) his toe. ouch! Crocs are cute but not really fuctional.

I just recently bought my first pair of Crocs. Pink Disney ones. they are the most comfortable things ever!
This past weekend we went to a race and I thought I would wear my Crocs. Well, after walking around all day in them, I had huge blisters and my feet were killing me.
So my vote is for sneakers.
