Crocs smell??

After reading all the rave reviews here, I finally broke down and bought these "ugly" things. So far I am liking them a lot! (pouted when I had to wear dress shoes to church this morning )

My question is -

They smell funny - DH says bitter - I say sweet... - maybe a reflection of our personalities? {don't tell him I said that! }

Do they all smell this way at first, and how long does the smell last?

Looking forward to comfy feet from now on!!

Yes, I just bought TWO pairs yesterday at E.M.S. (buy one get another 1/2 price)!!! DITTO on church this a.m.

I did not notice a smell at all until I read your post, took off my croc and yes, they do smell kinda funky but more like really intense foam rubber. But all in all, it is not an offensive smell. And I am sure once we get wearing them more and more we won't notice the smell or it will wear off.
