Crocs saved our feet!!!!

Our Crocs rocked at WDW!!!!

I had a blister from another pair of sandals prior to our trip and my Teva Mush flip flips aggrivated it. I lived in my Croc knock-offs and DH in his Crocs and we had NO problems!!!! We could go farther and longer than we have in our Crocs!!! And when we got caught in two down pours, our Crocs dried off within 10 min!!! We took them to Cocoa Beach and ambled down the ocean in them. I think these shoes were a god send!!!!! Our feet never felt better and I didn't have the leg soreness or the foot sorness I usually get in my tennis shoes.

We'll be forever taking them on long walking trips from now on!!!

I love mine. At first I thought they were ugly, but didn't care. Now I think they're cute and they're starting to become popular here (in Kentucky), too.

The biggest problem was deciding what color to get. I went with pink. I saw lots of people (mostly young people, but some over 30) wearing them in the parks and I got a lot of people asking me if they were comfortable.

Love 'em, but REALLY bad for my feet. I need much more arch support, and lateral support, than CROCS can provide. My podiatrist has put them on my "only around the house" list. But for strong, perfect feet, they are heaven!

I tried on a pair of Crocs and didn't feel like they were all that comfy. Priced at $30. Then I saw Payless had knockoffs for 14, so I tried them on. Still ugly and still not particularly comfy but I bought them because I thought they would be great for working around my 6 acres and for mowing the lawn.. (I usually walk barefoot or flip flops and these would protect my feet more).
They worked great for mowing and in the wet pasture and cleaned up with a hose. Then last night I decided to try them out on the treadmill and walked/jogged 3 miles. No problem.

They are still ugly, but I find my feet tire when I wear flats or tennis shoes after a commando day at WDW. So I guess I will take them next trip and test them. But boy, did I mention that they are really ugly?

I'm laughing at Clarabelle's comments, I have the same feelings, but I'm just curious enough to buy a pair (knockoffs) and give them a try....I must be crazy! I am way to old to be such a sucker, but I just have to find out if they are as comfortable as everyone says....I'll be sneaking around in mine for a while, I and just hear my family now. Geees, what am I thinking.... these things are driving me crazy, I saw a few last week in the parks and several posts sing their praises....I'm getting them in the morning....maybe they won't have my size, then I will loose interest and move to something else...or maybe I'll just try them on...is payless open at mdnight? Will I see myself on badshoe? Maybe they will hurt my feet and I won't be tempted. I must stop thinking about this....

Love my Beach Crocs. I have flat feet and a bunion on my right foot. My Crocs are the 1st shoe I have worn that does not make my feet ache. I just got a pair of the Highlanders, but I'm going to have to send them back. Although they look the same as the Beach (without the holes), they must be much narrower because they kill my bunion and make me walk with my toes all scrunched up.

Maybe I'm gettin' old, but this Grandma of 4 don't really care what my shoes look like anymore. Just get me from point A to point B without my doggies hurtin' and I'm a happy Granny.

Many of the nurses I work with wear Crocs. I have yet to try them, mainly because of the ugliness factor! I wish I could wear the shoes I use when I'm working my 12 hour shifts, but they aren't practical for a theme park (Danskos...super comfy shoes, even though they don't look or feel like it at first).

Anyone ever wear Birkenstocks to DW? I love my Birkies, but am not sure how they would do for a day (or 3...or 4...or 5...LOL) in the park.

Yes I wore my Birks around WDW, If I thought my feet were going to get wet (raining or Kilimanjaro falls) I wore my Merrel sandals (similar to Tevas) I also had my Nike sneakers with me and my feet survived.

I also work 12 hours shifts in a hospital and I LOVE my Croc's. I will be taking them with me in 2 wks to Busch Gardens to see how they will work then. Keep my fingers crossed.

Mine are comfortable...thus the post saying they are the best shoes I've ever taken to WDW.

I saw TONS of Crocs at WDW...the most at EPCOT and MK...at least 15 pair a day when I was actually looking. I would stop counting after 15 pair.

They're not that ugly...saw bright pink and blues and they looked stylish out in the summer sun with everone else's bright colors every where. Hey, when I get no sweat, blisters, or hot spots after 10 hours of pretty much continuous walking and some running, I give them the thumbs up.

Love my baby blue knock offs I got for free...my dd friend gave me her pair...yes I wear the same size shoe as a 10 yr old girl...I buy kids shoes cheaper anyway my dd wants REAL crocs for her bday (her party is tonight) and I will probably get them for her since I know they will be awesome for WDW...Thanks for the tip

I wore my crocs on my recent trip and my feet did not get sore like they normally do in tennis shoes ( I have plantar faciatis), however, I did develop a blister on the top of my foot from the shoe. Once I bandaged my foot I was ok. Just wanted to warn you about the possibility of blisters. I have worn them at home for about 2 months and had never had this problem.

If you type in "Crocs" on your web browser, you should be able to go straight to their site where you can learn all about them. I bought my "Beach Crocs" through "Zappos", and got them a couple of days later. The Crocs website was back-ordered for several weeks and I didn't want to wait. However, when the rivet on my strap broke, I e-mailed the Croc's site and they sent me, not one, but a dozen sets of rivets..free!

My daughter has a heel spur and I bought her a pair of the Beach Crocs. She calls them her "miracle shoe." She has no pain in her foot now. I think that maybe it's the arch support that is so different in these shoes, along with the heat from your body forming the shoe around your feet. Plus they are so feather-light...it really feels like your not wearing shoes at all.

My daughter is surprised that she never wants to take them off because that was always the first thing she did when she walked into the house when she was wearing any other shoe.

Anyway...do some looking around on the Crocs site...it's full of good information. Also take a gander at Zappos customer review area...there are hundreds of positive Crocs reviews there.

UPDATE: Bought a pair of Payless knockoffs for $5.99 on sale and took them to BG's this past week. Had to stand in line for 2 hours to ride one ride due to closing of the ride because of bad rain storm. No leg or foot problems at all. Wore them for 2 days straight and still no problems. They worked out great on the one rain day we had. I now wear the kockoffs sandels all the time and LOVE THEM ALSO.
I don't care how UGLY they look as long as they keep my feet and legs from hurting....

I have a pair of crocs and can't wear them - same as UrsulasShadow, but DD and DH love theirs. FWIW, I have a pair of Keen's that have been fantastic, no pain at all (and that's quite a deal for me!!). The support in them is fantastic. I think they're ugly but I get a lot of compliments on them. I guess I'm just looking at how big my feet are. The Keen's are more expensive than the Crocs (of course ) but for me it was worth it...wore them around WDW this June and no problems. I did wear my Birk's a little bit but I think that I can move quicker in the Keens. I saw quite a few people wearing their crocs around the parks and resort.
