Crocs..really comfortable enough to wear in parks all day?

I also said I would never own a pair of the "Clown" shoes..... :lmao: Well after a bad foot injury and having a hard time wearing any type of shoes. I tried these on my recent WDW trip. I wore them every day w/ socks. I have to tell you I had a lot of people talking about them. Everyone loved the way I dressed them up... :cool1: :cool1:

I now wear them all the time...... :cool2:

I like your jibbitz, Kitty! I read that jibbitz do not work well with the Mickey crocs, but it looks like yours stick well in the Mickey holes. Did you do anything special to get your jibbitz to stay in the mickey holes OK, or did they just stick in there easily?

We wear crocs all of the time. They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned.

I've had no problem with my jibbitz. I wore them all over WDW and the rides. not one has came out. They just pop/slide right in the Mickey hole... :woohoo:

I find my Mickey Crocs are comfy for short walking periods only. I've had 4 foot surgeries to correct bunions (reconstructive with cut bones, not just shaved on both sides of both feet) and I have hip bursitis that I get steriod injections for. The Crocs do not provide enough support for me for a walk around an entire park. If you are someone who requires good, stable arch support, you should probably consider bringing your good shoes with you as a back up.

I can tell you that Mickey Crocs are now available for purchase at just about every turn in WDW parks & shops. I even saw them hanging on a stand in the World Showcase in Africa yesterday. We live locally now and I was literally one of the first people to wear the Mickey Crocs to Disney World when they first came out. I ordered them online and got them early and they made quite a "splash" at WDW that first weekend. My teen DDs were mortified that I wore red "Ronald McDonald looking clown shoes" out in public - but, I had several men and women asking me where I purchased them from. I heard lots of people say "look at her shoes" and saw lots of pointing in the direction of my feet. One lady even told her daughter to stand in line behind the "lady with red shoes." It was lots of fun! Unfortunately, my Mickey Crocs no longer go to WDW unless it is for a short trip because I can't handle the hip, knees, and foot pain that follows. I do highly recommend them for quick errands, though. I smile everytime I put them on because they are so cute.:rotfl:

It seems to depend on the person. I wore MJs for our trip and they were wonderful. Others have worn crocs for ages with no problem and got horrific blisters when wearing them at the parks.

I've been wearing them for years due to ortho problems, have lost count of how many i've got (tread does wear out eventually & they get slippery)...
but, add me to the blister list as of last Oct:confused3

I always use the anti-blister balm & wear w/socks in the parks or whenever i'll be racking up a few miles; but got my very 1st ever blister (bigger than a quarter - owie). So glad I had the foam doughnut things my mom suggested I keep packing, jik:thumbsup2

perhaps it has something to do with the fact that my feet sweat alot:rolleyes1 , combined with the mileage, and the flopping/sliding on the footbed.

My new plan is to wear sneakers during the day, then into crocs in the evening when we tend to walk less.
