I loved wearing Crocs the first year I had them, wore them practically every day in good weather even wore them every day at WDW. Then the second summer my feet hurt so much in them. Now I wear Tevas in the summer and a good sneaker in the winter.
I have a few pairs of Crocs that I wear mostly around the house as slippers. I preferred the now discontinued (I think) LL Bean Coastal Clogs, which were just as comfortable and much better-looking...not so duck-like (as Crocs Beach/Caymans are). And I had such a bad experience with Crocs Customer Service, I will NEVER buy another pair. Like or dislike? Seriously DISLIKE the company.
I have one pair of the really ugly original ones (bright pink) that I wear around the garden and puttering, but for leaving the house I love my croc flip flops and also another pair of sandals. Neither of those pair are ugly. I'm going to have to check online again for what new styles there are because they are soooo comfy.
Wow! Strong emotions on both sides! I've never had a pair on b/c I have really bad feet. However, reading some of these posts makes me want to try a pair. Ugly? maybe, but I go for comfort over fashion out of necessity. Thanks for the post!
Love my Crocs! I have the mammoths that I wear during the winter. During the summer I wear Crocs Cleo sandals. I usually go through one pair a year! Thank goodness I can find them online during a great sale.
Funny thing is I own 2 pair of sandals that I paid way more $$$ for (I have a narrow foot) and I still wear my crocs more.
Not at all. I just think it's stupid to write something off just because you think it is ugly. I think they are ugly too, but I'm so glad I decided to try on a pair, just to see what the fuss was about.
