Crocs in the parks?? Kid shoe question

The last time we went, we brought two pairs of shoes for each of us, Crocs and Keens, so we could switch off if we had problems. The Crocs, they wore the whole time. Keens, they wore once, ended up with terrible blisters, and never wore them again.

I didn't take Crocs for my DDs to WDW b/c in our experience, they rubbed blisters when their feet were really hot and sweaty. We took Teva sandals with the adjustable straps. When my 6 year old insisted on wearing them to MK, I took her tennis shoes with us b/c I was afraid they might do the same thing, but she was very happy with them and wore them the rest of the trip with no foot issues. They aren't as slippery as crocs when wet.

So the kids are growing up. They are 10, 6 and almost5 and will be walking most of the time this trip. Only a stroller if needed. For those who have walking kiddos do crocs seem to hold up to the bar on comfort? Particularly the origional style and the "shirley" sandal?

Our girls get really hot in sneakers and socks. What are our options for sandals, comfort wise????

TIA!!!!

We usually wear Keens. In my opinion, they provide a little more support and dry fast if they get wet. Take a look at the website. Just a consideration.

I will let my DD's wear crocs as long as it's not forcasted to rain, crocs do not do well on wet surfaces as they are very slippery. My DD9 has taken a few really bad spills while wearing her crocs on dry days as cast members had just washed down a walkway. I've also seen a lot of adults and kids completely wipe out during rain showers in crocs.
Most of the time my kids just where teva flip flops (dd9) or keen sandals (dd4). For myself I wear teva flip flops when it's dry out and then strappy type tevas for when it's raining as the flip flops tend to slip off my feet when wet.

DS wears Crocs in the parks, but DD doesn't like the little bumps in the inside. She wears the Airwalk version from Payless. I pack a pair of regular sandals each year, too, but they don't wear them much at the parks. DS takes black Crocs and blue Crocs, and DD takes pink Airwalks and either black or turquoise Airwalks. That covers all their outfits. I wear Skechers sandals in the parks. I am between sizes in Crocs, so I couldn't wear them even if I wanted to. Whatever you choose, make sure you give the kids plenty of time to break them in. New shoes strictly for Disney is not a good idea.

DS and DD have worn crocs on the last three vacations to the world. Both kids were fine in them, but they fit loose on them. Now I do switch up there shoes while we are there, a couple of days in running shoes and crocs etc. But never had problems with blisters.

DS4 wore crocs at DL last year and had a blister by noon. This year the crocs are for the pool area only. They have closed toe sandals that are sort of like Keens this year.

That is all DD 9yrs old will wear..She has never once complained of sore feet, hot feet or blisters
