To 'celebrate' finishing radiotherapy DH took me to the coast today. On the way we stopped off at Hythe near Folkestone. I always think of Hythe as Walmington on Sea (like in Dad's Army) so was shocked to see Crocs in the window of one of the little shops. Inside they had them in lots of colours and sizes. Now I shall have to think of Hythe as trendy not sleepy :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

crocs have invaded pretty much every shoe shop/surfwear shop/ outdoor equipment shop in the west country - I still don't think of them as trendy - they still look like 'special' shoes:rotfl:

I live in Hythe and I too was surprised to see Crocs in the shop window last Summer:-)

Are they really that comfortable? I tried some on in Disney last week, and couldn't decide what I thought of them...

I have bright orange crocs which I love - if I wasn't a manager in a Government department, I would wear them to work !!

I'm glad I bought them in Florida for $29.99 because I'm sooo happy when I see them for £30.00 here in the UK :cool1:

There's a huge Croc shop in Orlando International Airport, I saw it when I was waiting to fly back from WDW. Going by the amount of people wearing them they're the best things to wear for loads of Dis-walking. I agree they look a bit . . . "special" . . . but I really want a pair for the summer now. :thumbsup2
