Crocs - I can't believe Im about to give in.....

Okay, so everyone's talking about them. Everyone's saying how wonderful they are.

Now I'm curious (after about a year of hearing this with no interest). What is it? WHY IS IT? It's JUST foam, so...........................are they really that great? Im about to get some if they are.

My feet often hurt after a long day of walking/standing. Will Crocs help in that area?

Do you wear socks with these? Do you get blisters if not wearing socks? Which kind of Crocs do you buy for touing? I've tried the Disney pairs on that are at Downtown Disney, and neither med or large fit "just right". So, should I go for bigger or smaller, or just stick to a couple of pairs of sneakers??

Too many options, wish I could take one of those leg/foot massagers availabe at Brookstone stores and wanting better comfort than I've had in the past 6 times I've gone to WDW!!

I wear them with and without.. your feet really don't sweat in them they're made out of some funky special material (not just foam )

I LOVE them! They're all I wear now. I got gout from having too high a protein diet (to lose weight.. nice, no?) and right now they are the ONLY shoes I can wear. Everything else.. EVERYTHING... hurts. Crocs actually make my foot feel BETTER.

I'm ready to toss every other pair of shoes and get more crocs in different styles. They ARE that good.

And they grow on you.. I got mary janes now and I think they're REALLY cute! I thought those were the ugliest until I got them and I think they're pretty nifty now!

Crocs should only touch the sole of your foot. They SHOULD fit big. and I never got a blister from them... and I ALWAYS get blisters. ALWAYS.

I just started looking at these today. The disney ones are really cute and they have NFL ones my son would love. I'm just affraid I'll get the sizing wrong and I'll hate them.

You dont even get blisters when wearing them with no socks? Now I'm VERY interested (even though they are so ugly).

Nope.. no blisters. If they fit right, they only touch the soles of your feet (mine kinda touch the toe too.. oops.. but still no blisters!)... never. I do yard work in them, shop with them,.. and now I work in them! I'm so sensitive to blisters. I didn't want to wear them when I cut the grass last weekend for whatever reason and wore very soft flip flops. Yup.. blisters between the toes! I should've worn my crocs.

I am a size 7 shoe, and these are Med. 6-7, but are wayyyy to big.
They got them in Disney so I will bring them down with me to exchange them for a smaller size..

I have to admit that I was a huge none-believer - however, I caved and bought a pair of Crocs Cayman just last week and I LOVE THEM!! I am now asking myself why the heck did I wait so long....and I am actually in the process of ordering another pair.
If I could wear them 24/7 I would, my feet don't feel tired at all.

Don't get the ones without the holes. I have a pair of blue ones and my feet sweat in them. I also have a pair of the beach ones (with holes) and they are much better. I do not wear socks with mine. I love them, but I would also bring gym shoes to wear also to prevent blisters.

Welcome to the dark side.

Besides a friend who has different length legs, I haven't met anyone who hasn't thought crocs are very comfortable. I don't like them much for standing, but they are great for walking. Try a pair.

My youngest son usually complains "my feet hurt" whenever we walk any distance (or he plays soccer or baseball). We've never heard him complain when wearing crocs--even in a 8:15 to midnight trip to the MK.

with my foot in them there is a space of 2 thumbs (?maybe an inch?) and from the top of my foot to the shoe I can easily fit a thumb in there too?
Is this the way they fit?

I got my first pair for out trip to WDW 2 years ago. It was the only pair of shoes I wore the entire 10 days of our trip - they were so comfortable. I did get a blister on the top of my foot the first day, probably due to the humidity, but a bit of mole skin solved that problem.

I find the soles wear out fast walking on pavement all the time, and when they do they are very slippery!

My 7 year old also has a pair, and he wears them everywhere. I have a mickey pair waiting for him to use on our trip this August.

I refuse to wear the regular crocs because they are so ugly (sorry) but the ballet flats aren't terrible, if they are super comfortable I could probably deal with tme. Anyone wear the crocs ballet flats and done a lot of walking in them?

If not the ballet flats, possibly the flip flops? Even though they are kinda odd looking, maybe I could make the flip flops work if they are like the most comfortable flip flops ever made.

OK, I finally caved in and bought a pair once I found them in my size (I wear a women's 11-12 size shoe...yep, big feet). What do I do about the squeaking these shoes make???? They are quite comfortable, but I've never managed a whole day in them because they squeak when I walk and it drives me nuts. Any suggestions???

I wear pointy toed high heels all day at work. I'm sorry I'm a shoe junky.

But when I get home it's my comfy crocs I think they are butt ugly (I have 4 pairs ) But they are so comfortable. DD and I are hooked. We have our Mickey crocs(red pair and a pearl pair) for WDW and my lime green and hot pink pairs for home. I wear them all the time, I'm wearing them now

I wear them with socks in cooler weather and without socks in the summer. My feet don't sweat. And I usually have really sweaty feet.

They were squeaky at first but they no longer squeak. I have wide feet so I have to put my Crocs in the dryer and stretch them out a bit before I can wear them.
