Crocs for men

My husband wears the plain old beach crocs most of the time or the professional style with no holes in top in the winter. That's at home and at Disney!

I wear my Crocs off and on at WDW. I wear T shoes then Crocs every other day.DW wears hers every day. My Crocs are the plain ones with holes in toes not sure what they are called.

We've done 42 trips to WDW and I've read all the hype and whatnot on Crocs but just thought they were ugly and uncomfortable and wouldn't buy a pair. Our daughter bought us each a pair last Christmas and we all went to WDW together. My wife wore hers everywhere and didn't really say one way or the other her feelings but I wore them once to the parks and couldn't wait to get back to the resort and get them off. They just aren't comfortable, they are sweaty and the nubs on the bottom are irritating. I used them to go to the pool the rest of the trip and now use them around the house for slippers. nothing beats my 99 cent flip flops for the parks, no sweat, no blisters and no nubs. Others swear by them but I gave them a shot and they are not the most comfortable shoe for me, and they are kinda of clunky and big. I think it was a big fad, good tennis shoes and socks to me are better and I trade them off for the flip flops every half a day.

My DH wore tennis shoes the first couple days at the parks, then for some reason he got a bunch of blisters. I finally talked him into a pair of Mickey crocs we bought him at HS. He wore them the rest of the trip and he said it's the only thing that saved him. He still wears them everywhere -- red Mickey crocs! He takes flack from family and friends, but he loves them!

Any men out there wear "Trailbreak" crocs for Disney? Or what kind of crocs do you wear?

I have been looking for them, but have not found them in a store. I am hesitant to buy them on-line as I am concerned about size. If I find them in my size, I plan on buying them...

I usually wear Nike shoes but with socks my feet get hot. Wife is trying to convince me to get crocs. I do not like the look but am curious about comfort level.

Any male who would wear crocs is not a man, IMHO. They are kids shoes and are ugly even on children.

Oh Grow Up! I usually don't get offended by most opinion posts, but yours is just plain rude!

Now I'll make a sexist comment - it always seems like the put-down or sarcastic posts come from the men on this board. We're all here to help each other, not put each other down. If you don't know how to express an opinion without insulting someone else, I suggest you stop posting.

My REAL MAN, who is the father to my two children, loves his Crocs and wore them at Disney, both his Disney Beach Crocs in black and Caymans in khaki. He also has full Crocs shoes for work (don't remember the name). He thinks they are most comfortable with socks because of the nubs on the bottom (like Pepe mentioned).

Crocs work really well for people with leg and back problems. If you have an outlet mall near you, then there should be a Crocs outlet. Lots of styles for $5 or $10 that you can try out before you go. Some may still have a few leftover Disney Crocs, too.

Good luck to the OP and ignore that A**. Sometimes the only way some people make themselves feel like a man is to put someone else down.

I apologize in advance to anyone else on the board who think I overdid it. No offense please - I love 99% of you! :grouphug:

Oh, this is just so rude,
why would you go and insult people like that. :confused3 If you don't have anything nice to say just don't say anything.

I love crocs and all my family wears them

My husband loves his beach crocs - especially paired with Feetures socks. (If you haven't tried these socks, they are awesome! You can find them online.)

One of my sons has the Offroad crocs, but isn't too fond of them - too clunky - but both of my sons and my daughter love the Athens flip flops.

I wear the Croc flip flops....they are not ugly at all...especially compared to the original ones. They are the most comfortable things to wear to the parks...

My husband (VERY much a man) has caymans and wears them around the resort mostly, not really to the parks, but there were days on our Dec trips that our feet were hurting after doing the parks all day, and putting on the crocs when we got back to the resort was like heaven! A couple of times we wore them when heading back out in the evenings and by the next morning our feet were ready for our regular park shoes once again. I wear mine all the time here at home, and DH wears his when he goes fishing and mows the lawn or runs out to the store. The Disney ones are on clearance on the crocs web site in the outlet section. $14.99 for kids and $17.99 for adults, much cheaper than when you get to Disney! They also have a printable size chart (one that you actually put your foot on) on there so you can get an accurate measurement before buying.

I was dead set against wearing Crocs that my wife bought me because I thought they were ugly. After getting blisters on my feet last year at WDW, I decided to try them. They may be ugly but boy are they comfortable. No more blisters for me. And by the way, I consider myself very much a man. I have served in the Army and in Law Enforcement.

In case anyone is interested, I was at Marshall's yesterday and they had Crocs flipflops, men and woman, for, I think (memory not so good) $15 each, it was definitely less than $20. I would have gotten a pair but all they had in my size were black on gray, and I didn't like them on me. It's possible TJMaxx may have them as well.

Costco has Crocs in right now for $14.99.

I have two pair - my Dallas Cowboy Crocs and my Texas Longhorn Crocs. I only wear them around the house and to the gym (shower and pool area). I wear a size 13 or 14 so the XXL size is just barely comfortable for me - not enough that I would wear them all day at WDW

I like the Crocs sandals but not the Crocs shoes. The Crocs sandals are very comfortable.
