I know it has been discussed, but I'm leaving for WDW very soon - how does someone protect their toes with the Croc flip-flips from blisters (the thong-part that is between big toe and 2nd toe) - I have my first pair of the coolest flip flop crocs (pink/lime green), and for my birthday my DH got me the red MM crocs - cool!
BUT, I want to wear the flip flops but don't want to worry about blisters....thanks for all the helpful hints.

I wore my (pink and green ones too!) crocs last trip and did not get any blisters...the were very comfortable. I did wear mine a little around home to get used to them, since the toe"thingy" is a bit thicker than other flip flops.

I don't like to wear my Crocs flip flops around the parks- for me, the toe thingy is too thick- not comfy!! But I know I am in the minority- most folks love them!! I love my other Crocs for WDW, though.

I would say that if you are worried about blisters, try applying BodyGlide to the area. I use it on the sides of my heels and balls of my feet, and it is awesome!! No blisters at all (and I usually get at least a few on every trip).

You can find BodyGlide at sporting goods, running, and camping type stores. It liiks like a stick antiperspirant. You rub it on any areas prone to chafing or blisters and it eases friction to prevent problems.

I could have written this post. I love Body Glide and I did not like my Croc flip flops for WDW. I can't wear my Niles down there either--they gave me my first blister at WDW. My other Crocs (Beach, Aspens, & Caymans) are fine down there though. Personally my favorite shoes for WDW are my Teva Mush flip flops--they are sooo comfortable.

Great minds think alike, huh? ;)

I think I need to check out the Teva Mush flip flops... I keep hearing that they are great. I have 2 pairs of Bass flips, and I love them- so comfy. But they don't have enough support for WDW. I wear them all over home in the summer, though.

I have worn my Nike flip flops at WDW with no problem (the "toe-piece" is very comfortable). But you might try wrapping a piece of moleskin around the toe-piece if you're worried. Use the thinner moleskin (not the thick "molefoam").

The new capri style, has a fabric thong and would be better on the inner toe area. I can't await to find a pair.

Put some moleskin between your toes may help.

I work my crocs (caymans) for a week straight @ WDW and had no problems.
