Has anyone found the Caymans in a local store?

Do they really fit true to size?

Do they really look less "clunky" than the Beach?

Yes - Nordstrom.

Pretty true to size - I bought an 8 and that is typically what I wear.

No - they are just a clunky as the "Beach" style and flop around on my foot. I bought a pair for DS, too, in his regular size and his flop around as well. I am hoping after I wear them a few weeks they will feel like they fit.

So when I was reading that they are a sleeker version of the beach style, what do you think is different?

I'm not sure.

The "Beach" span two sizes, so I would think the "Cayman" might be a bit more true to size, but that isn't going to be apparent to the naked eye. It took me FOREVER to figure out the difference between the 2 styles. The thing with the Beach is the break between sizes - you can buy a 6/7 or an 8/9, not a 7/8. So my straight size 8 Caymans probably ARE sleeker than an 8/9 Beach! It is possible that they are a tiny bit more narrow, but I couldn't swear to it.
