I LOVE my Crocs. I am a nurse, and I am on my feet 12-14 hours at a time, and never, ever, have foot fatigue when I wear them. I have New Balance sneakers that feel great when I put them on but after 8-10 hours they are tight and don't feel good. I was chicken to try the Crocs in the parks but last time I was there I wore them the last day and OHMYGOSH. Heaven.
I also swear by Bodyglide, and ALWAYS slather my feet with it at Disney. I used to get blisters between and under my toes. Not so much as a hotspot since I discovered Bodyglide.
I tried Bodyglide with Crocs once (no socks). Thinking, best of both worlds. NOT. It felt gooey and slimy.
BUT: Crocs + socks + Bodyglide = foot bliss.

As for the issue of blisters, spray deoderant works really well (another tip we got from the dis) because it stops your feet from sweating and therefore minimizes if not eliminates blisters. DH and I always bring it with us on our Disney trips and we never have blisters from walking. Moleskin, as someone else mentioned is great for hot spots too, but if you decide to use deoderant on your feet, you have to put the moleskin on first or it won't stick.
