Crocs = Best Comfy Park Shoes?

The Crocs you can buy at WDW with the Mickey shaped holes are the most comfortable Crocs. I do have a pair of those that make every trip to WDW with me, for when my feet get sore. I have 3 pairs of the Croc Cleo sandals too. Love them!

When I was working at summer camp we all swore by crocs, they clog style counted as a closed toed shoe, and we could wear them in the lake when boating and such.

They're pretty comfy, but I know my feet blister pretty easily so I think the humidity wouldn't mix well with them, and the clog style is really unattractive :rotfl:

I personally prefer Toms! They go cute with dresses, shorts, pants, everything, come in a variety of colours/patterns or even custom painted ones, they dry quick enough after rain and have arch support in them!

I like the Crocs Kadee, very comfortable and cute. A few lessons learned:

1. If possible try them on in store. I tried on a size 8 and they were very tight. I knew they would stretch out, but I also knew my feet would swell in the FL heat. I tried a 9 and kicked them off as soon as I walked they were so big. The sales person suggested I try on a different pair of size 8. Apparently no two pairs are the same, something about how they dry when they are made. Best advice, the fit was perfect.
2. Break them in before you go. The little bumps inside really rub my feet raw, especially since you can't wear socks with them.
3. If you get a pedicure before you go either do it a few days before your trip or don't let them remove all of your calluses. Part of breaking in a pair of shoes is also conditioning your feet!

I think the slipping issue with Crocs happens more with well-used Crocs that have the bottoms worn down. I bought 2 pairs of Crocs flip flops this year and have fallen in love with them. My DH wore them and decided to try flip flops since he thought they were so comfortable.

My feet hurt so bad that I ended up wearing old Crocs clogs that I packed for DH to wear to the pool.

Skechers has a new line of sneakers that have memory foam insoles.

I got the black & pink pair. Wore them the other day to work to break them in...did NOT need to. They are SOOOOOO comfortable!

I totally agree - the memory foam shoes from Skechers are unbelievably comfortable! I got a pair for my trip this February, and made the rookie mistake of not allowing for a "break in" period before my trip. I literally wore them for the very first time on my trip. No break-in needed - they were super comfortable from the very first minute! It's like walking on marshmallows. These are the ones I bought:

Love 'em!

crocs (clogs) with socks. We're the only ones in our whole family who didn't end up with shin splints, blisters, sore feet, sore legs, and/or back pain.:thumbsup2

No one cares what you wear on your feet, but if your feet hurt, you'll care a lot!:goodvibes

My Croc sandals were actually the worst shoe I wore to the parks. They had absolutely no arch support, so my back was killing me by the end of the day! My best shoes were my Mary Jane Tevas and my similar-style Sketchers.

My Crocs Athens Mickey Head flip flops are by far the best shoes for summer park touring for me. I'm going to buy another pair this trip because after 2 summers and 1 pregnancy they are pretty worn out.

Do you know which stores may have these? I want to pick up a pair the first day at downtown disney. Maybe the World of Disney store?

My crocs (Janna style) were the only comfortable shoe for me a few weeks ago. I had absolutely no back, legs, or foot issues the entire 9 days. I loved them!
