Crocs Beach style

I just bought some today, I was so excited! After much deliberation, I decided on the khaki color. They fit good, I'm an 8 ½ and got the medium for size 8-9. BUT- when I walk my feet are sliding forward or something, because I feel my toes get squished to the front. Do they just need broke in, or worn without socks, or what!? I've never had this happen with clogs before. Anyone?

I am a size 8 and have 3 pairs of medium... none of them feel odd walking to me.

I flipped the straps to the front and that seemed to help. I guess maybe it was shoving my foot up! DH saw them today, asked where I got them, and said they were the ugliest things ever! He commented on how much I love ugly shoes, and we would never be able to keep up with my fetish.

Now I want more Crocs in different colors...but which one?
