crocs athens

i have been and bought a pair of croc athens but they hurt between my toes. Every year I buy a different type of flip flops and every year they get given away as I just can't cope with the toe post .
this year though I really like this ones and want to wear them. Any tips on how to toughen up between my toes so that they are comfy. I bought them at lunch time today and already have a red mark between my toes. I need to be able to wear them as DH just shook his head as I was buying them as he knows what always happens. Help me prove him wrong

im the same i just persurve(sp)..wear them for as long as you can each day until they become comfy

I'm sure u can buy something that goes around the divider, like a gel thing.

Have you tried out 'Capri' Crocs? They are a bit thinner than athens around the toe. I never used to be able to wear flip flops either but I have two pairs of Capri's and I can wear them all day without any problems

You can buy gel insole type thingys for flip flops. Its a gel pad with a jelly bit that goes around the toe piece as well.lol Does that make any sense.

You can also get a a rub on stick which you rub between your toes to stop friction ( a bit like a hard vasaline !!!!)

I went for the Adara Crocs - they are so comfy I am going to get some more before our October trip. Look like sandals but without the toe post.

I practically live in Crocs Athens......

If you can persevere a little I think you'll find the toe post goes really 'squidgy' and won't cause you problems - fingers crossed

I agree with Alison, if you keep wearing them they will soon be soo comfy I used to hate all flip flops until I got my athens, they're fab
