Can kids wear crocs waiting in line at rides and on the rides themselves, even the pools? With the hot pavement, the tootsies need to be covered! Or do we all just get pool shoes/socks/speedos for the family?

Yes they can wear them around the park and on most rides/slides and in the pools. The few slides that they can't wear them on they will be asked to hold them on their chest. (this is mainly the speed slides). The tube slides and family rides we were allowed to leave them on. It sure helps to keep from burning their feet.

Personally, I would get pool shoes.

I am a constant Crocs wearer because I have foot problems. But I find they can be SUPER slippery on wet tile and sometimes on wet pavement. This is especially true once the tread starts to get worn down.

Also if you wear them IN the water your feet tend to slosh about quite a bit because they are so roomy. I've done it and sometimes I've jammed my toes in the side vents of the shoes.

The good news about water shoes is they are cheap and don't take up much room in a suitcase! :)

What to Wear

- Proper dress is required at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
- Swim attire with rivets, buckles or exposed metal is not permitted on the water attractions.
- Wetsuits are not permitted on body slides.
- One-piece swimsuits are recommended on the more thrilling waterslides, like the Summit Plummet attraction.
- Wearing water shoes is a good idea when visiting Disney Water Parks; the ground can get hot and so will your feet!
- Wearing sunscreen is strongly advised.
- Sunscreen, swimwear, beachwear, towels, gifts and other sundries are available for purchase at these locations:
- Beach Haus, to the left of the Park entrance
- Snowless Joe's, to the right of the Park entrance
- Sunglasses Hut, near the Cooling Hut snack stand
