How long are your Disney World trips???

If you visit more than once per year, think about the length of one typical trip, not the total number of nights per year.

We usually do 1 trip per year and try to go for at least 10 days. Coming from Canada, it’s often too far/expensive to do multiple trips in one year, although buying into DVC 4 years ago has made that easier. We are actually doing a big trip this December for 10 days and then coming back in January for a cruise (non-Disney) and tacking on a few days at Disney afterwards. But generally we do longer trips, to avoid as much of the Canadian winter as possible!

I'm in Florida - we are weekend trips. 2 night stays each time.

One trip per year, the length has crept up from 10 nights to 12, occasionally 13 nights, except this year, this year it’s 2 ‘short’ trips, one for 8 nights, the second for 9 nights .

We usually do one trip anywhere between 15-18 days but includes 3-4 days at universal.

We do 3-5 trips a year to WDW. MOST are 4-6 nights.

We have decided that 8 days is the perfect amount for our family, lets us have 2 days at each park. We usually only go to AK for one day, but it is nice to have the option, plus we usually hop from on park to another one in the evenings to go to a sit down restaurant.

Usually 14 days… it’s a 7.5 hour flight from London! However we have a very short 6 night stay in January for MW, and a 3 night stay before a cruise in April, so will bring the average down.

I’d happily stay for a month if I could get the time off work!

Usually 6-7 nights twice a year. We also use our points for 1 trip of 11-12 nights at Disney's Hilton Head.

We used to stay for 5 days when we would drive because my wife didn't want the kids sitting for to long so we would take two days to drive from Texas and two to drive home. Now we consistently fly so trips have picked up those days and we are usually 8 days.

Just the one trip per year for us but we typically do 25nights as the biggest expense is airfares from the UK. would love to do 2 two week trips but just can't afford the airfare

Most of the time we like to do 6 or 7 nights. I recently went for 4 nights and it felt too short, with all the travel time. But I'd do it again if forced.

I picked 7-9 but that is because we go twice a year. A long summer trip 10-12 nights and a quick holiday trip at Thanksgiving for 5 nights.

Over the past couple years we’ve done one 6 night trip, and then two 4 night trips because we’ve had APs, usually taking the 4 nighters around a holiday or festival and the longer trip in the summer.

This year we blew through a lot of points on an 8 night 1br, and honestly for us felt a bit too long.

We usually do three trips a year - one 7-day, another 9-day, and one 14-day (which is especially glorious!)

We try to do 2-3 trips a year of about 5 nights each. But this year has been an extremely busy one (the birth of another precious grandchild , two weddings, one on the west coast and the other in the UK, and some medical issues - joint replacement & therapy). However, we will still be at WDW in October (one trip for 10 nights).

Based on vacation time from work, our trips were usually Saturday to Saturday, occasionally Saturday to Sunday. Now retired, we may travel midweek for cheaper airfare, but we’re usually staying only 7-8 nights. Old habits die hard!

I feel like a crazy person now. Our longest is fly in on Wednesday night and back out on Sunday. Many are Thursday night and out on Sunday. Typically 2-3 times a year. My wife’s desire to stay longer is low. We run pretty hard so not sure if we went for longer we would slow down or what. I have promised to slow down our next trip….we shall see.
