I keep reading how comfortable Crocs are, but they are so ugly!:scared1: I looked on the Crocs website to see different styles. The ones I think I could wear are: Nile, Patra, & Cleo. Are these styles still comfortable, or do you sacrifice the comfort for a prettier shoe??

I wore the Nile and the flip-flop type (can't remember the style name) last year. I thought both were great and didn't look so bad.

I would love to find a pair of the flip flop kind but everyone is out of my size here in town..and my trip is too close to order them online!!

I wear a 6 and the guy told me the 7 was "supposed to be really loose"

umm no I have a pair of 6 Crocs and they are not THAT loose....not snug but not TOO BIG like the 7's were for me

rant over sorry!

I don't know if they're still offering this, but a couple of weeks ago zappos had free 1 day shipping on croc flip flops. I ordered my DD some and had them the next day.

I wore my croc flip flops for 7 straight days in WDW last December and never once did my feet hurt. I have the navy blue one which go with just about everything I wore.

I am going to get a white pair as soon as the new styles are available.

New Mary Jane style (ankle strap plus back strap that can be folded down to make it an open back) are not that bad looking--and comfortable! I am a solid size 9 in regular shoes, but wear an 8 in this particular Crocs style. Extreme Footwear had them with free shipping--got them in four days. I occasionally wear them to work (with long pants), and they look fine (my company is business casual every day).

I bought the Croc flip-flops for my last trip and my feet ached, the spot between my two toes where it hit throbbed and I woke with Charlie horses. I now love them, but there was certainly a break-in period.

I have some of the "ugly" ones and I only find them to be super comfy if I am wearing socks. Therefore I wear them with jeans, but that's about it.

I love the new Patras! Has anyone tried them yet? Are they as comfortable as the other styles?

Renysmom - I just have to say I LOVE your avatar! LET'S GOOOOOOOOOO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!

I have the Nile flip flops, the Mary Janes and the Cleo sandals, in addition to the more basic Beach and Cayman styles.

Nile- haven't tried them at WDW. I don't like the between-the-toe part-:sad1: too big for me. The only flip flops I can really tolerate for any length of time are the ones with very lightweight, thin fabric between the toes. The Niles are good for around the house, though.

Mary Jane- wore them for a full open-to-close day at MK. Not as comfy as Beach or Caymans, but still OK. They have a little thinner sole than regular Crocs, so they aren't as comfortable for a full day of walking. But, they sure are MUCH cuter than the Beach or Cayman models!! :)

Cleo- Haven't worn them at WDW yet, but they are very comfy!! :thumbsup2 I'm looking forward to trying them out- they will be lighter and cooler than my regular Crocs. The only thing about them I noticed was that I had to stretch the straps just a bit- I have high arches.

I own the new Cleos, and they are wonderful! I haven't done WDW with them yet (2 more weeks), but I have worn them all over campus, and they are lightweight and super comfortable.

I took my Nile's the last time I was there (2 weeks ago), but it was during that freezing cold weekend and all I could wear were the clogs with socks. It was ugly, but I was more interested in warmth those days!

Just so you know, the different styles fit very very differently. I tried on the standard style and the Mary Jane, and had to go up (I am a 7.5 and needed an 8). When I tried on the Athens, I had to go down to a 6 for a good fit, because they were ran much bigger. So do try them on before assuming what size you need, because it could potentially be a wide variance.

I have the Disney Crocs, and they are so comfortable. I even wore them out tonight in the snow! :rotfl:

This is true. I have a pair of the Beach style, and had to go up a size. I just bought a pair of the Aspens for work, and they're a little big..Ok, they're very big! I think I might try to exchange them for the proper size because I've already tripped a couple of times at work(very embarrassing). Does anyone know how the Disney Crocs run? Similar to the Beach style?

I have mary jane, cayman, and beach style crocs. I wear my mary jane crocs to work quite a bit. I teach community college, so I stand for long periods of time, and they are great for that.

I prefer my beach crocs for WDW. The caymans are good too, but I wore my beaches the most on our last trip, both with socks and without. They were uber comfy! :3dglasses

I just ordered a pair of Cleos for our summer trip because I want something lighter and cooler to show off my pedicure! :cutie: They are turqouise to match my baggallini! (I think the Dis has finally warped my mind! :upsidedow)

How comfy are these? My DH refuses to wear them because they are so "ugly", but I have been having real problems with my feet (even wearing sneakers kill right now) and with going to Disney in 27 days I need something that will help my feet, esp with walking as much as we will be. Which ones are the best for a "feet situation" like mine. Where can I buy some? I love in Southern NH and have no idea where to look. Sorry for so many questions

Help :confused3

I wear my crocs everyday. They are so comfortable. Myself and my daughter will be wearing our Disney crocs to WDW on our trip March 30-April 8,2007.

We tried the flip-flops last year at WDW (myself, DH, DS and my mom) and every one loved them! We "rotated" shoes however.... we'd wear our Crocs one day, maybe tennis shoes the next, back to Crocs, etc.
