I live in Germany and make regularly the two types of German potato salads and the idea to use a crockpot is having me scratch my head and it’s grossing me out to be honest. Just simply boil Potatoes peel them, cut them up when cooled off and then either do the oil vinegar version or the sour cream/mayonnaise. It’s got to be one of the cheapest sides to make.
My favorite is the oil vinegar version. I cook my potatoes. Slice them up at oil vinegar, a little bit of vegetable broth, fresh cut chives, onions, and I’d like to also add to the list sliced cucumbers in the mix
