Ranch Pork Chops with Gravy
6 bone-in or boneless pork chops fat removed (I recommend boneless)
1 package dry ranch mix
2 tbsps dry brown gravy mix
1 small onion chopped
1 can cream of celery soup
Put pork chops in, cover with onion - ranch mix - gravy mix. Top with soup mix. Cook on high 4-5 hours, low 6-8 hours.
It will make a great gravy (thick) for mashed potatoes, rice, noodles. I thin mine with a bit of milk before serving. Very tender and flavorful.
I love beef roasts and beef stews but I despise mushrooms. What is a good alternative to cream of mushroom soup that I can use? I also want my roast to have dark brown gravy, not grayish looking gravy which sometimes happens. What will improve the look of beef gravy?
I made the Five Flavor Chicken in the crockpot tonight. It was delicious. Thank you Dis friends.
Well I'm going to try the brown sugar chicken over rice tonight! Has anyone tried it? DD LOVES teryaki chicken, so I think it should go over well with her. I love tossing every thing in the crock pot and having dinner 90% complete when everyone gets home.
DO share please?? Is this recipe on this thread??
Yes it is. They are all on post 372 I think.
Made the Crockpot Chicken and Black Beans with Cream Cheese the other night (post #6) and.... oh my gosh. So good! It's like eating the inside of a burrito or enchilada. My BIL actually put some of his into a couple of tortillas and had them as burritos. He said he could eat it every day for the rest of his life.My sister ate it straight up, and I had it over white rice.
The leftovers got eaten with tortilla chips to make a yummy nachos plate.
We're having it again tomorrow.I used two cans of black beans instead of one can to stretch it a bit and that seemed perfect for us.

I got this one off of recipezaar about a year ago. I make it all the time. It's super easy-- you don't even have to defrost the chicken!!!
