Crockett's Tavern

We were looking forward to having a beer on the front porch at Crockett's after a nice meal but hear that there has been a lot of change since our last visit. Anybody know what they serve and what kind of carryout they may have? Didn't find any menus or prices for them at the "menu site". Thanks.

Hmmm............we ate at Trails End over Thanksgiving. While we did notice a few changes, like greeting on the porch, layout change inside, we saw no change at Crocketts Tavern. We too often grab a cocktail and drink it on the porch and watch the people going by.

You used to be able to order food at Crockett's, but I believe that may not be the case anymore. They have removed the "food" from the sign outside. Bar is open as always.

We went in December they serve Appetizers!! I really miss the good meals they use to have.. There Nachos are really good. I would't let it stop you from having a beer!!

When we were there in November, you could still order food from the Crockett's menu. We had pizza and beer on a couple of occasions. The only difference is that now they seat both Crockett's and Trail's End guests all together throughout the entire space. We found it was actually an improvement, as they now only have one check-in podium that is in front of the door to the old Crockett entrance.

Thanks for all the information and I'm glad that we can still have that beer along with some people-watching from the front porch! Did anyone notice if they have fried chicken carryout? Did anyone try it? Also, since they have the pizza and nachos, is there any other appetizer that was available?

We just returned from FW and yes they still have carry out at Trails End.They have chicken dinners with french fries.buckets of chicken,wings,pizza and nachos.

We were just there for Christmas and went for chicken wings (soooo good), nachos and great pizza!! I think they only serve appitizers and pizza though.
