1) Went to a Lunch Tasting at Trails End this week.
2) Sat on the porch while we waited for the table, since we were a little early.
3) Rocking Chairs
. . . for the longest time, they had approx 12 rocking chairs
. . . then, they cut them out due to people hibernating on them waiting for HDDR
. . . after a lot of complaints, they put most of them back
. . . now they have reduced the count, again
4) New Porch Seating at Crockett's
. . . five rocking chairs
. . . two wooden benches with backrests (seats 3-4 people each)
. . . two picnic tables (seats 4-6 people each)
5) BUMMER !

I dunno... Seems to me that if people are using the chairs and they are always full, reducing the number is not the solution. Increasing it might be in order to accommodate the crowds. Just my thoughts..

Maybe they should put more benches closer to HDDR and add a pushcart that sells lemonade. That way people could sit and sip while waiting for their show!

Well, there you go. One idea to make money, while also making a repeat mistake that only cost money. Genius, they gain nothing.

1) The official announcement has been made, and we don't have to keep it quiet.
2) Trails End is going back to a (weekend) buffet lunch.
3) We attended the "Tasting" and were pleased at the change.
. . . we are lucky enough to be invited to most of the tastings for new eateries or changed menus at existing eateries
4) We were NEVER enamored by the ala carte lunch change at Trails End.
5) We actually thought the quality went down-hill when it went from buffet to menu.
6) Trails End now goes "back on the list" for lunch alternatives for us.

We only went once to the a la carte lunch, and that was once too many. We loved the former buffet lunch.

Paul Obviously you didn't learn math correctly. See if you local school has an adult ed class in Common Core Math or at least a Remedial Math ala Joe Biden and you will soon see how this works

1) As we were told,
. . . the Buffet Lunch/Brunch is weekends, only.
. . . Brunch is $24.50 for adults and $13.85 for children (taxes incl, tip excl)
2) Hours 7:30am-2:00pm
3) OUR GUESS (with no backup data/info),
. . . we think there is too little business on the weekends, so they need to attract people
. . . sometimes on weekends, Trails is a Dead End . . . People Checking In/Out, People grabbing a last-day at the parks w/o breakfast/lunch

NOTE: It was mentioned that there could be an actual Buffet Lunch after a "trial period" for the Brunch. The discussion was Breakfast 7:30am-11:25am, Lunch 11:30-2:00pm, Dinner 4:30pm-10:00pm. But, remember, this was Table Talk and not An Announcement.
