Do all Crocs fit the same? I have an old pair of Beach style Crocs that I wear around the house. I am contemplating on getting a pair of the Mary Janes and/or flip-flop style (from an online site) and was wondering if I should buy the same size that I currently have with my old ones? Do all Crocs run the same size or are some styles smaller/larger than others?

Thanks! Any input is greatly welcomed! :)

I have approximately a zillion pairs of Crocs ;) of all different styles and sizes, and the rest of my family each own at least a few pairs. I am very picky about shoes (from the comfort standpoint - heel spurs and plantar fascitis). My experience over the past many years (I got them right when they first came out from advice from others with foot problems), is that there is a variance in sizing, but not necessarily by style.

So, I wear a women's 11 normally. A normal beach (10-11) is a tiny bit small on me, but usually wears in shortly. A Cayman (11) fits perfectly the first time I wear it. Same for a Mary Jane 11. HOWEVER...I have had several pairs that just ran small in any style. I have two pairs of the Disney Beach and one is about a half inch longer than the other - same sizing. Similar for some of my pairs of caymans - I can hold them up and see the difference. So I think it's more of a batch thing.

About the only difference I have found is when I've ordered some of the men-specific shoes (the ones that look more like actual shoes and have laces, etc., and don't come in women's sizing), they seem to run a bit larger. So although my Caymans say women's 11, mens 9, in the actual "men's" shoes, a 9 seemed very big on me. :confused3

Overall, my recommendation would be to just go with what's worked for you in the past - they seem to be consistent between styles. But if you get a pair and wear it around the house a little first and they just seem small - take them back (or ship them back) because they will never be wearable (or at least not comfortable).

I wear Crocs all the time too, hardly ever put on regular shoes or sandals any longer.

Cayman and Beach sandals run pretty true to size, but as the previous poster said sometimes you will get one pair that is a bit off.

I have found Mary Janes to run a bit small and they are definitely not as wide if your feet are wider.

My shoe size is an 8 and I also wear that size in the Athens flip flops. However the the Disney Mary Janes that I ordered in an 8 are a a little snug so I bought the next 2 pairs of mary janes in size 9. I think that I have kind of wide feet and the mary janes are a more narrow style.

Thanks everyone for the input! :thumbsup2 I think that if I order the Mary Janes, I will just go up a size. I have a medium width so maybe the next size up will help with that as well.

Another question: Do the Athens flip flops cause pain between the toes? Some sandals bother me and some don't. If they are made of the same material and the shoe, then I think that it wouldn't be a problem for me.

If you buy your Athens shoes right before you go, they will hurt and you'll hate 'em. Buy them a few weeks in advance. They'll probably feel funny for a few days (the toe thong is quite wide), but then you get used to them and they're totally comfortable.

The Athens don't hurt my feet at all. I think they're really comfy. I got the orange/green Disney one's from the Croc site and I have to say they're one of my faves. I get a lot of compliments on them. It may take a few days to get used to them like PP said but it's really nothing more than any other new shoe. The Mary Janes actually fit really weird on me. I ordered an 8 in both-I'm a pretty solid 7.5 and the Athens fit great but the Mary Janes were huge and I ended up sending them back.
Maybe I just got a different batch/lot like others have mentioned. My feet are by no means narrow at all and they were super wide on me.

Well, my feet are wide and I probably shouldn't even be in Crocs at all, LOL, but I did buy a pair of Disney Athens out of desperation (my nice wide New Balance were causing me to cry from pain) on our last DLR trip.

When I wore them immediately after buying them, I had to put bandaids on the tops of my feet, b/c they hadn't loosened up yet AND my feet were crazy-swollen from the days in my athletic shoes. I also ended up with swollen "index" toes, the ones on the other side of the shoe thong from my big toe. They itched like they were having an allergic reaction, it was really weird, but the bones of my feet were so comfy I didn't even care.

Now my feet have calmed down and the tops of the shoes have eased, and now I find myself getting small blisters on those same toes. Nothing bad, but it's happening. The shoes themselves are still so comfy on my bones that I am dealing with it, and I plan to wear them (with a pocketful of small bandaids to put around my toes if needed) on our day trip to DLR tomorrow.

It's not a ringing endorsement, but I like them all the same!

Oh, and mine are a size 11...I'm a size 8, 8.5, Wide, in normal shoes.

For those of you that wear Crocs for Plantar Fasciitis and heel spurs......
What kind would you reccomend?
I wear a size 7.5 wide normally.

Perhaps I should look around and see if I can find someone who has them. I know that our Dillard's has them, they are just more expensive than those online. Plus their colors are limited.

I love my old ones and I would wear them during our upcoming trip, but the bottoms are somewhat worn out.

Really, I think whatever you feel comfortable in. Theren's not much difference between the beach and the cayman, unless you're right near one of the sizes (9, 11). Those seem to be the roomiest, widest shoe. And what I wear most of the time. But they certainly aren't form fitting. I almost think of them as a small cushioned platform for my feet. The rest of the foot carries them around so that my heels have somewhere soft and squshy to rest on when I'm standing! ;)

And no matter what kind you buy, give them a chance - at least a couple weeks. When I first got my first pair, I just thought they felt weird. Not comfortable, but not uncomfortable. Now it's all I wear, other than for running. Other advice might be to wear them with socks until you're used to them a bit because they do tend to rub a bit on the top of your foot, especially at first.

I never had a problem with my Beach's, but that's all I have. I am going to go out today and try them on to see how they actually feel on my feet. I saw a pair of Athens the other day. They were pink and tan, I think, and very cute! I just love my Beach's because they really are great on the heels. Even in my New Balance shoes my heels get sore after being in them for a few hours; however, in my Crocs, they never hurt.

I just bought my first pair of Crocs and I love them. I acutally got them on clearance at Dick's sporting goods...here is what I got. I usually wear a 6 so I tried on a 6 and they fit perfectly.

Those are really cute! I still haven't decided on what to get. I guess that means that I am going to have to do some more shopping. :confused3 :rotfl:
