love your poem appletini! I too am currently wearing my crocs with socks.
It's a little chilly here today.
op I say do what you want-they are your feet.

I guess you guys didn't know that wearing socks with sandals or crocs is a fashion faux pas. It doesn't matter if it helps your feet when walking 10 plus miles a day, it looks ridiculous and you shouldn't do it. Suck it up and look fashionable..........although I'm not sure if you can look fashionable in crocs, even without socks.

I can wear the Crocs without socks as long as it isn't humid,if it's humid I get blisters every time!

I am a weird. I have always lived in the Deep South- Houston until two years ago I do not like wearing shoes without socks- And I never go barefoot unless I am on carpet.

I have to wear socks with my Crocs or I get blisters on the top of my foot. My kids don't wear socks with their crocs and sometimes they have dirty feet not usually at Disney though.

I have never been one to care about fashion faux pas, LOL. If I was, I wouldn't wear Crocs in the first place! I wear Crocs with my socks all year round. I don't like the way they feel without socks. I really don't care what anyone thinks of the way I look; they should worry about how they look.

I wear crocs without socks at home, short shopping trips, etc. When at WDW my DH and I wear our crocs with socks and don't care what it looks like. My DH used to suffer with horrible blisters in years past but ever since we discovered "crocs with socks" he rarely gets them.

I usually wear socks with my Crocs. My feet tend to sweat and they can move around in them when they get a little sweaty. But me personally I can't wear Crocs in the park. I have weak ankles and they don't provide enough ankle support for me.

The shoes are so ugly that I don't think socks could make any difference at all.

But they are comfy and easy to put on if you're going out for mail or whatever.

After awhile, Crocs started to look beautiful to me, but maybe that is because they made my foot and back pain go completely away. Same for my mom, who has sever bunions and was constantly in pain. She wore expensive shoes that were doctor prescribed, but was still in pain. I introduced her to Crocs and now she doesn't have feet problems. She works in a cafeteria and we even found Crocs with no holes and thick rubber(black) treads on the bottom.

Yes, I prefer my Crocs with socks - the socks keep the sweat away. Have fun and coordinate your socks with your crocs and your outfit! Even my DD wears socks with her Minnie Janes and prefers it that way in the summer.

The best look was my DH last summer - he wore white socks with his black Mickey Crocs! Super Dorky, but he didn't care - he was totally comfy.

BTW - we wear fanny packs, too! So we've ascended into the higher level of dorkiness. But we're comfortable, hands-free and our feet don't hurt!

It is not a fashionable look by any means, but when I wear my crocs at WDW I wear them with brightly colored "fuzzy" socks, the kind usually sold at the misses/teen section of clothing stores. They are very comfortable and make my feet feel like they are getting a massage.

If I wear crocs without socks, even at home, I get blisters.

Yes! I don't like how my feet sweat in the crocs so socks are important. Crocs look funny either way so I might as well be comfortable.

I think some people get the wrong size causing the blisters. They should be loose.

DH's are loose, he just gets one spot on the side of his foot that wears on every pair of shoes. He has really wide feet so shoe shopping is a challenge. But yeah, I can see if people are in between sizes they may go for the smaller size.

I didn't think he would like them at all because he has nerve issues and can feel every grain of sand under his shoes, but they are the one pair he takes to Disney. He has more less painful days with the crocs then anything else.

no! crocs are mostly worn without socks, but if you insist on wearing socks they sell skin colored foot socks at payless shoes! they are affordable and not noticable

Because if you wore regular socks...you'd just look like a total geek!!!

Kidding aside, I have a pair of the Mary Jane Crocs, and I wore them sans socks one night at WDW. Haven't worn them since, but I always take them with me to WDW just in case.

First, I tried crocs at Disney a few years back and I found walking around in them all day was torture for my feet and ankles - not nearly enough support. I have narrow feet and skinny ankles.

On the other hand (or is it foot?), I wear them a lot at home and for days when I will be standing for long periods of time and I love them.

As for socks, I almost always wear socks with them because I can't stand the way the little bumpy things feel on the bottom of my feet.

Fashion? In a world where it's "fashionable" to wear short furry boots with mini skirts, I don't think crocs with socks are even noticeable...
