CRO vs WDWT

I'm getting ready to book a vacation to Disney for our family & have seen mention of both of these on these boards. Anyone recommend one over the other and why? Also, I plan to use Disney Visa discount - does that make a difference which one I should use?

Effectively there isn't really a difference anymore. The only major advantage with CRO used to be when it came to room-only reservations. You got much more favorable deposit and cancellation terms. Nowever, now WDTC can give you those same terms... so as long as you verify the terms with the CM it really doesn't matter who you go through.

The terms you want to make sure you have are:

1) Cancel up to 5 days before arrival with no penalties.

2) One day deposit due up front, balance due at check-in.

I'm not positive, but I think the deposit and cancellation policy using the Disney Visa might be a little different. It's probably similar to that of when booking through the Disney Club. Perhaps someone who has already booked using their Disney Visa can let us know. ~~

No, the terms for the "room only" VISA code are the same. The difference is when it comes to room/ticket packages. I booked a room for our June trip with the VISA code and those were the terms I got using the WDTC.
