CRO vs. WDW website

Quick question-
I had to call CRO to change our ressie from POP to AKL for Dec. 7-13 woohoo: ), the CM gave me a choice of Standard, Pool, & 2 room suite. She said all the Sav. views were booked, but on the website I have a choice of stand., pool, bunk bed sav, and sav. Why are there different options on the website vs calling CRO? Is the CM wrong? I kind of want a savannah room...right now we booked a pool view.
Anyone with info? Thanks.

I don't know the answer, but you can do 2 things:

1) Call back and see if you get a different answer from a different CM. If not, ask them why you can see availability on the web site?

2) If you can't work it out that way, make a new reservation through the website, and once you get your confirmation, cancel the one you made through CRO. You are well within the refund time, so that shouldn't be an issue.

All I can say is only reserve through the web site if that is the only way. I have officially given up on making reservations through the web site. If you later need to make ANY change to the reservation, when you call, they end up having to cancel that reservation and booking a new one through them, new deposit and everything. Plus they had to send an email to the finance department to request that I not be charged a penalty (even though I was well outside the 6 day mark) and issue my deposit refund. The CM even told me, don't use the web site, just call us!

I've read several posts where people questioned the difference in availability phone vs. web, and the phone CM told them to book it online if they could see it there. It doesn't really make sense for a company like Disney to have more availability showing on their web site than their reservations office can see.

I tend to use the web site for last minute trips, and the phone if I'm booking well in advance.
