CRO Frustration...but Happy Ending

This evening I called CRO asking how much it would cost to upgrade from WL courtyard to concierge. When the CM quoted me $700 additional for our 7 nt stay I politely refused and said I'll keep my current ressie (CKO code/courtyard view). Cm then proceeded to say, "Hmmmm,why can't I get that back? Hmmm. May I put you on hold?" After 25 minutes, I hung up, and called back. Another, very polite CM said my ressie was for concierge, at the new more expensive rate. When I explained what happened she said she would get her supv. and needed to put me on hold...but promised it wouldn't be 25 min! Within one minute CM "Addy" came on the phone, and quickly took care of my problem. Once again I had my WL courtyard view at the CKO rate. About an hour later CM "Carmen" called to make sure everything was alright with our reservation! Very professional. Sorry this is so long, but I just needed to vent. DW's birthday surprise has been tough enough so far!

I totally understand your frustration. I have spent the last 3 days on the phone trying to clear up several CRO messes. Me and my DH are staying at the Dolphin and treating my mother (and her husband) and my sister (and her family) to a nights stay at the All Star resorts. Mom wants to stay at Music and my sister at Sports...should be no problem since it is two seprate ressies.......well more could not have gone wrong. I have paid for 2 seprate resies at 2 differant hotels which are now really one big resie at one hotel with 2 differant confirmation numbers (CM screwed up royally) and charges on my credit card that were not supposed to be there as I was told I could not charge the ressies but had to prepay with a check...Yes, my credit card is charged and the check is cashed an no one can explain the charges as they can not find them on their end...........Then to boot they would like to get this all straigtend up when I get there.....as if I am going to spend my precious vacation time going through this wth them for the upteenth time??????? After teh fourth call to CRO all this is supposed to be cleared up and a refund is en route. I really do not think it needs to be this difficult and wish they could all be on the "same page". But here's hopoing that all is squared away and the magic and pixie dust will flow freely from this point forward!!!!

I almost hate to get started on my frustrations in dealing with CRO...It started with getting my original confirmation in the mail with a Florida resident discount ( don't live in Fla and didn't ask for it) instead of a AAA discount. I never got the corrected confirmaton for that change. Then after the AP discounts came out we changed from CBR to WL. Four phone calls and 6 weeks later I finally got the changed confirmation in the mail. Nevermind that it took 3 phone calls to straighten out the mess they made of our CP dinner pkg reservations. The first cm was just positive that I couldn't choose a dinner time, I'd find it out when I picked up our tickets when we got there. I finally gave up and called back as I knew it wasn't right. Now, due to not being able to get a flight back home on our last day, we're going to have to shorten our stay by one day. I was dreading having to go through the mess of changing our reservations, but finally decided to do it yesterday. I just happened to look at what I had written down for my confirmation number and realized that the confirmation number printed on the letter had the last 3 numbers switched around?? I'd just assume I wrote it down wrong, but I remember now calling them about not receiving the confirmation in the mail and I used the number I wrote down. After finally getting the thing in the mail I called about something and used the number that was on the letter and they couldn't find me using the number, but did find the ressie by my phone number. I never double checked, but I'd bet the number on my confirmation letter is wrong. By the time I got around to calling CRO they were closed. SO, now I get to call and make one more change (hopefully) and see if they can straighten out the number problem. I guess I must really like Disney cause I can't imagine going through this to go anywhere else!
 

I crossed CRO off my list. I have used DU with my room only ressies for the October and January trip and could not be happier! Dagny does all the work for me and always checks up on me, just to make sure I am happy and have no questions. :) :bounce:
