Does anyone know how long this funky schedule they are doing for Critter Country is expected to go? the whole closed many days and limited hours on other days.

We are hoping to go mid April but I am feeling more and more discouraged as my fave places keep shutting down. (fantasmic will be down, no TOT then, and now maybe Critter Country).

Thanks!

edit: and now I am seeing BTMRR is going to be down December to TBD. any ideas on this one too?

Thanks!

Ok, due to the upcoming Star Wars Land expansion, a lot of work is being down in the area, which did require the Railroad and Rivers of America t close down to allow construction, and make changes to the "tracks" of both attractions (And the Rivers will be rerouted to hide the guiderail that the Mark Twain and Columbia run on).

Pathways need to be changed, and adjusted.

So the recent Critter County was closed to address that matter, plus to allow the logs to be dried out and refurb on Splash Mountain. It should reopen before peak Christmas season (mid-December) if not earlier. Weather is an issue, and since we have had rain here in Anaheim lately, it does cause issues with trying to work on the walkways, such as grading and concrete work.

Same issue with BTMRR, the back (North side) of the ride will be next to a pathway for Star Wars Land, and to allow the work, they have to close down.

But Disney is trying to keep things open, and pick slower times to do the needed work.

The current plan has the Rivers of America reopening the July the 4th weekend (subject to change).

But for long term improvements, there needs to be short term pain...

Critter Country should be back to normal this weekend, per the Disneyland Entertainment Schedule. Not that this particular page has a good track record, but that's what it says. April shouldn't have any problems in that area since it went down for a month in October, but Star Wars Land could change that. It's a wait and see kind of deal.

I recall hearing that it would be down until Nov 3 (or 5). I'll be there on Sunday and will def report if it's not back up.

Thanks all. I know that SW land is causing all (or most at least) of this.

Sounds like Critter Country should be up and running. any ideas on BTMRR? I only see TBD.

So, with an educated guess, will Splash and BTMRR be open by December 12ish? What are you thinking? :)

So glad it's back to normal. It's one of our favorite areas in the park.
