So I am surprising my wife with this trip to Disney for her birthday. I am letting her know Monday and we leave Saturday. I bought Annual Passes since we will be going back again later this year and we're staying the first night at POP and the rest off-site with a car rental.
There is some very exciting stuff going on and we'll try to catch it all, but just wanted to share my plans.
FYI - My wife loves the random character interactions. We definitely want to try and get the White Rabbit, and are crossing our fingers they have some surprises for 24-hour event. We've also never done Palooza. We're going to be there during SWW at HS, but since we have the AP, will probably go there one night with the sole purpose of doing a 2 Palooza timed afternoon.
So here it is! (note that I opted to spread some FP+ out since we'll be at MK a ton)
May 17
Land at MCO at 5:45 and get car. Get car and drop our things in the room at POP
8:30-9:30pm Space Mountain FP
9:35-10:35 BTMRR FP
10:50-11:50pm PPF FP

RD for Chewie
11am SWW Parade
12:45 ADR for Sci-Fi Lunch
1:40-2:40pm Star Tours FP
2:40-3:40pm TSMM FP
6:30pm H&V SW Character Dinner
7:45-8:45pm ToT FP
9pm - Fantasmic! FP with dinner rez

11-12am Cinderella and Rapunzel FP
12-1pm Ariel Grotto FP
12:45pm BOG Lunch FP
(Afternoon maybe use more FP+? Day is listed as moderate at MK)

10:15-11:15 EE FP
11am - See Nemo
11:25-12:25pm Dinosaur FP
(Move to HS for Palooza at 4:40 & 5:25pm - Anyone know if there are variances in characters on a 2 palooza day?

12:30-1:30pm - The Seas FP
1:40- 2:40pm - Spaceship Earth FP
(We will probably use this day as a later start day for walking around the Showcase in the afternoon and possibly getting 4th, 5th FPs for other Epcot spots)

3:30-4:30pm - Splash FP
7:45-8:45pm - ETWB FP
9:35-9:55pm - Wishes FP
(Probably a take it easy day before the 24 event. May try to meet some random characters at MK)
May 23 - 24-hr day
6am - RD (Basically to get some rides and shop and hopefully do some surprise character M&G that they do first thing)
10-11am - Mickey M&G FP
10:30am - ADR for Crystal Palace
Head back to hotel for a NAP!
9:55-10:55pm - BTMRR FP
10:55-11:55pm - Space Mountain FP
(Hang around until crowds dissipate then hopefully ride SDMT
on a soft opening)
May 24 & May 25
We have these days open for one because I've already booked 7 days with the AP and can't book until I use the first day, but since they're free I'm pretty sure this will give me leverage to not worry about maybe using a FP I don't need earlier in the trip and then use them the last two days. If we like SWW we can go back there. It's really up in the air.
But after reading what do you think? Like I said, some of this may seem like odd choices but still we'll be there for so many days. Even though a FP selection may not be necessary, we're going to be there so much and I'm sure will ride some of the MK rides a bunch at the 24 hr event, etc. Otherwise I think we're covered. I did move some rides to midday after the announcement of 4 FP++. And it sounds like getting extra ones has been pretty seamless.
