Critique My FP+ plan, Please!

Monday at midnight I will be making my FP+.

There are seven of us going. I plan on trying for A&E for our last day for just 4 of us first, trying to get them for the other 3, then jumping back to our 1st MK day. I will try for our other days after finishing MK as 7 Dwarves seems like the next hardest to get.

No, we aren't going to HS. Just not interested. Yes, we go to AK twice, last trip that was the only park my twins enjoyed AT ALL, so we added a second day and they loved it. All of our MK days are party days, we will last as long as we can and then hop to Epcot for dinner, or go back to YC and then to Epcot.

My twins hated MK and Epcot last year and had to go to the hotel by 1-2pm on those days (lasted until we had to leave for dinner on our AK days). This was after napping in the stroller, waking up, and being pissed they were still there. I am hoping that they enjoy things more this year as they have become a lot more like people and less like toddler-monsters since then, but just in case I am scheduling our FP+ early and then will just be happily surprised by any additional ones we can manage. We don't do afternoon breaks if we don't have to since our kids will be sleeping by around 7:30pm each day.

You'll be able to walk on just about anything at park entry, so I wouldn't book any FP at that time, as it would be a wasted one. The earliest I'd get one for is about 10:15, and maybe not until closer to 11.

I didn't check your park choices super closely with a crowd calendar, but I saw that one day you're choosing to go to the most crowded park. So I recommend making your choices as much as possible based on what has low crowds. Try this site if you don't know it already:

You could also fine tune things a little to be more efficient. For example, instead of Ariel/PP/Mine Train, put PP on one end it the other so that you're not crossing back and forth to where you just came from.

It will show you availability of FP coming up for parties of 4. Sorry I don't have the specific link, but lots of people mention it here, so you could do a search on disboards for it.

Let me state a little different idea about early FP+. First, you don't have to use it right at 9; you can use it between 9 and 10 (10:15 if you want to play with fate and trust the unwritten 15 minutes grace period ). This gives you the opportunity to do 1-2 other attractions before using the 9 am FP, then you can go right into your 10 am FP. For example, for her 9/22 day they can do BTMM and Splash, or Space and Buzz, then use the FP for 7DMT.

Second, early FP+ use allows you to use your 3 and get a 4th ASAP. Some parks that's not a good strategy, but for MK it can be a good one. So it depends.

Yeah, when I made our ADRs and plans AK did not have morning EMHs for our Wednesday. Since I made the ADRs, they changed the calendar and it is now not recommended. I am a little annoyed and trying to change our no longer pre-opening tusker house adr, but we are definitely doing two Ak days, so we are kinda stuck.

That is what we were thinking. We will standby the rides and the. Use the first fp+ right before it expires.
