Critique Dec Plans?

My daughter (12) and I will arrive at MCO around 10 a.m. on 12/12 and leave on 12/20. This will be our first stay at POFQ. We don't have park hoppers. We tend to be rope droppers, unless we've had a late night. I haven't decided if I should rent a car...

12/12 MK -- (easy day since we'll have had 2 hours of sleep), TRex Downtown Disney 3:30
12/13 MK -- 6:30p dinner @ Chef Mickey - afternoon parade
12/14 HS -- 5:00p dinner @ Mama Melrose w/Fantasmic + Osborne Lights (our 1st ever visit to HS!~!~!)
12/15 MK -- 10:00a breakfast @ 1900 Park Fare and MVMCP!
12/16 EP -- 6:00p dinner @ Biergarten
12/17 AK -- 5:00p dinner @ Boatwrights
12/18 MK -- 5:00p dinner @ Rainforest Cafe Downtown Disney w/local friends
12/19 MK -- 1:00p lunch @ Cinderella's Royal Table, evening parade & Wishes

I know the 19th is not an MK recommended day, but that's when I got the CRT ressie (plus, we like to end with MK).

What do you think? Do you see any glitches? Do you think a rental car would be super helpful or not really necessary?

I wouldn't get a rental car. You're not hopping and don't have any early ressies, so the bus system should be fine, and IMHO much more relaxing to let someone else do the driving.

Your first day, 12/12, when are you going to MK. It will be around noon before you get to POR, and you have a 3:30 ADR at DTD.

Beyond the first day point mentioned above my only other concern is the 16th. That's your only Epcot day and making rope-drop could be tricky if you take full advantage of MVMCP the night before.

We'll be there then time as you, maybe we'll run into each other!

Only thing I'd change, IMO would be 12/15 MK -- 10:00a breakfast @ 1900 Park Fare. Unless you're set on breakfast there at that time. I'd try to make it earlier or later as it's in a weird spot with a 9AM opening of MK.

I prefer RD so I'd make it around 11:30ish so I could hit a few rides at MK before hand.
