From what I gathered from the press release, it's to go along with the premiere of another suspense following it.

Wednesday, Sept. 24: The season premiere of the 29th edition of SURVIVOR (8:00-9:00 PM) is followed by the special, two-hour season finale of EXTANT (9:00-11:00 PM).

Wednesday, Oct. 1: The season premiere of CRIMINAL MINDS (9:00-10:00 PM) and the series premiere of the new drama STALKER (10:00-11:00 PM) launch a new, two-hour suspense thriller block.

I couldnt believe it when i read that she joined the cast! I dunno why im surprised. I like her so im sure she'll do just fine.

I remember watching her on Kids Incorporated when I was a kid. I've always loved her and I'm happy that she has this new gig! I'm kinda looking forward to seeing her in this action/dramatic role!

I normally like Jennifer Hewitt, but I'm not sure she will fit in with the team. She's girly. She tends to be more emotional. That is her big trait in casting her in stuff. Will she be able to make the transition to hard-core, tough FBI?

I just hope Morgan, who she will probably be paired with when they go through the door, won't have to keep emotionally taking care of her after each case. :rolleyes:

The article describes her as a seasoned undercover agent." I hope that will be true and that she will not be dumb, like Seaver, or too emotional and need caretaking.
