American Idol starts tonight too. I hope that the network doesn't look at the ratings and see a significant drop as people are watching basketball (voluntarily or not ) and AI.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Not being ready is not the same as saying no.

It reminds me of when John Stamos & Rebecca Romijn divorced. The rumor (which may or may not be true,) was that John was ready to start a family. Rebecca's career was finally taking off an she didn't want kids right then.

So he divorces her to find someone he can start a family with? Well, he never got married or had kids. Meanwhile 3 years later, she had twins with her new hubby, Jerry O'Connell. IF the rumors where true, John should have just waited for the timing to be right for Rebecca.
