Hello,

I saw one of those infomercials on the cricut and now I want one really badly. I would not pay the price I would look on kijiji (my friend just bought one off kijiji). I only scrapebook I would not make decals or anything else.

So if you have one is it worth it. Is the bigger one 12 x 12 better than the 6x12. Are accessories really pricy?

Thanks in advance

Lots of people on the scrapbooking board own them, you might get more opinions there. It is under the creative community.

I have a Cricut Expression and I love it. I had the little one first, but now only use the big one. If you want one and can wait, I would see if anyone has it on sale on Black Friday. I got it last year at WalMart for under $200. Hopefully the ads will come out soon.

I only do scrapbooking and have the Create. It is the mid size one.
Love it.
I got it at hallmarkcrafts.com last winter.

I don't know how the prices are at the places mentioned, but AC Moore & Michaels often have 50% off coupons. That would be a big savings.

Michael's doesn't accept the coupon on Cricut products. (don't have AC Moore, so no idea for them)

You can't use the coupon for Cricut products at ACMoore either, some people have been lucky and been able to use it for the carts and accessories at Joanne's.

I have the expression and I love it, but it is a very expensive hobby because of the carts I am always buying. They do go on sale and you can find them online and on ebay and get some good deals, but that doesn't help when you keep buying them :rolleyes1
Keep an eye out for Black Friday deals, and also Creativexpress.com just had the expression on sale for $199 and free shipping so I would keep checking there.
If you don't want/need to cut large projects, you don't need the expression but it is nice to have the option.

I"m going to be the voice of dissent and state that I am not fond of my Cricut Expression. I've been scrapbooking for years with my Sizzix fonts and dies and I still prefer the Sizzix over the Cricut for scrapbooking projects.

The Cricut is nice for larger/bigger projects but I'm not sold on it for scrapbooking.
