Cricut questions

I scored an expression at Wal-mart yesterday....now I have some questions.

What cartridges do you consider a basic "must-have".....(not fonts)

Can I get a catalog that shows what cartridges are available (and what is on each cartridge)

What papers do you use for the disney cartridges....I was hoping that cricut had a "disney paper stack"....I want the colors to be right.

http://www.cricut.com/information/cartridge_library.aspx is a list of cartridges.. You can click on the link for each one it appears, and it brings up the handbook, which I assume is the 'owners manual' for each cartridge.

They are PDF files, so you'll need to make sure you have adobe acrobat reader installed..

I use Mickey font all.the.time.! I also like Opposites Attract. All Mixed Up is a great font if you have little ones...can you tell I use the font carts most often?! DH order Dino Tracks for me a few days ago. I know it will get used a ton too.

Life's a Beach has a fun font for letters and all the beach things for vacations,

Learning Curve is a good basic preschool type font,

Disney character cartridge is great for all Disney,

Spongebob cartridge because we have stayed at the hotel twice now and it made my scrapbook,

George, came with my machine so it is a must for me.

The best suggestion I have for the Disney characters. When paper is on 50% at your local HL, M's, J's. Take the book for the Characters and write down all the colors you need. Go and purchase the colors for each character you intend to make. The skin color works well with a light tan. Every time I have tried to use a flesh tone, it turns too pink against the black ears. Be sure to purchase non textured cardstock, it works much better.
