I would love to know how you did this! I've used my Paper Dolls alot, but never gotten anything like this???

Thanks!

Cute! I will have to make that Captain Jack for my sister's birthday card. :thumbsup2

Great Job! Love them all. I will have to remember that when I get to my next disney trip!

Awesome. I made a Mary Poppins. I will have to find it. It is already on a page.
you did a great job.

I'd love to make a Mary poppins. She was the highlight of our trip!
They are all awesome.

Very clever --now I kind of wish I'd picked up a Paper Doll cart when I saw it on sale the other day -- may have to see if it's still there at M's.

wow :thanks: for all the compliments!

for Mary, i don't have the book anymore so i'll try to remember/explain.

Her dress and coat are the same piece, simple one piece dress. for her coat i trimmed off a little on the bottom and cut in 1/2 vertical. her scarf (that one took me awhile to figure out too) that is the stolle (sp?) from the promgirl...snipped in half and glued together in that manner, trimming off excess. her umbrella is from the clown. her hat is from a lady, maybe even called 'dress up' it reminded me of Red Hat ladies. I cut off the top portion of the hat. the boots, i'm drawing a blank on, but they are definately boots, i didn't alter them. her bag i wasn't sure what the pattern i looked at was using, i ended up cutting out some trapezoid object, cutting the bottom portion off and flipping top-bottom; using my corner rounder on (now) bottom corners. i have a punch i used for the bag handle. really that was complicated, i'd just free-cut a bag out.

make sense?

katied -- i had the Paper Doll dress-up catridge. really i just choose the character i wanted to make, then flipped through the book to find the article to cut out. alot of them are altered after cutting. i.e. cut in half vertically to make a jacket. if you want details on one, like i just attempted to explain for Mary, i'll do my best. here is link to the cricut message board thread where i found the ones i copied off http://www.cricut.com/messageboard/tm.aspx?m=3977290

I wanted to thank you for your post and the pictures!! I don't have a cricut but I do have a cuttlebug machine and the Sizzix paper doll dies. In the past I have used the dolls to make family members - but your doll sinspired me to branch out and try some disney characters! With a littel modification and some hand cutting I was abel to make tinkerbell, Snow White and Cinderella! Thank you! You have created a new monster in me! :rotfl:
