Cricut cartridges $19 @ Michaels

I saw in my Michaels ad, they have the cricut cartridges for $19 and it says clearance. Are they stopping carrying the cartridges?

No they are still carrying them. It is only the older cartridges that they had marked down to $69.99. None of the newer cartridges. This was a typical bait and switch when you get in the store. The 2 I went to only had maybe 4 or 5 cartridges that were $19.99. But still had a bunch of the $44.95 ones which is the sale price for the ones still marked $89.99.


No thanks I'll stick to ebay.

Michael's now has these older cartridges for $9.99! I bought three last night. They even had a Winnie the Pooh one for that price.

The Gypsy is also 49.99! I got Cars and Dreams Come True carts for 9.99 ea. The reason they are clearancing the Gyspy (according to the ladies on the scrapbooking thread) is that its not compatible with the Imagine and they are coming out with one that is. The carts are just older carts they are getting rid of to make room for new ones.

I went to Michaels today and they had a whole lot of carts for $9.99. It was a great deal! Since I don't have a lot of cartridges, it was a good to get a half dozen for less than retail for one.

Our newspaper ad had this listed today so I drove 15 minutes to the local Michaels. I went right after they opened and there was a sign that said they had sold out last week before the ad came out. It also said no rainchecks. There were several women there and all of us were furious. Do not put something in an ad that you are going to clearance a week before!
