Cricut Belle (photos) HELP needed post 6?

No trip to Disney planned this spring, so instead of a post card, I made these paper Belle's for a little girl going in May.

Well, Aurora, not so much. I may have to make her 8 inches tall. Either that or there's something wrong - I couldn't make the arms and hair fit the base so the first set hit the trash. Has anyone else made her and had trouble?

Do you hit the real size button by accident? Also make sure you didn't move the size dial. I've done that and didn't figure it out until I was so mad I was about to give up on my projects.

No - haven't had time to work on them again - thanks for asking. I did look though and the dial is still set on 5 inches. The hair was the right size - it just went down to her shoulder and there was no piece for the long part that shows below her arm on the right side. I think i'll try cars next, for the little brother. Maybe the pieces are bigger.

The pieces will not fit if you have it set to real dial size. Only when set in paper saver mode will they all fit.

I found that out the hard way working one of the Cars characters...

I can attest to the fact that they are not. Many of the pieces are smaller and there are a lot more (depending on who you make).

Go as big as possible for your machine. Those little pieces are PITAs.
