We have had verizon for our cell phones for more years then I can remember, however I have been thinking about switching to cricket. I can get us both a phone with more services for less than what I pay for just my phone with verizon. Just wondering what others thought of cricket, customer service, and coverage. I dont know anyone who had cricket, all our friends and more than half of our family are with verizon. Thanks

just bumping this thread, as I have been looking into cricket as well, and was curious to see some responses.

Anyone???

You may want to shop-around -- Cricket doesn't routinely get "great" reviews (especially, when compared with a "superior" carrier such as VZW).

I have cricket.
The price you pay is pretty much what you get.
The customer service isn't that dependent, and coverage is minimal in some areas. But, there are cheap plans for families, and phones aren't too pricey. I would advise you to make sure there is a cricket tower in your area, so you can recieve better coverage. Hope this helped. :goodvibes

I've never heard of cricket and I don't know how much it is a month but have you checked into Walmart phone service? They work off of the Verizon towers and my husband loves the phone and the service. It's unlimited minutes, txt and web for 45.00 a mth

I thought I heard about a family package but I didn't look into it.
