Hi everyone!! First I want to thank you all for the great info I have learned during the last 3+ months of "lurking"!!! Anyway, does anyone have any experience with the DCL cribs?? My DD will be 10 mos when we cruise in May and I wonder if it'll be better to take my own pack-n-play (better access for naps??) or use the cribs they provide?? TIA, Veronica:yay:

Oh, I wish they were cribs, although they'd never allow for room in the stateroom to even move if they were. They are indeed GRACO pack and plays.

The have pack and plays. And they have cute Mickey sheets for them.

Your room person will set them up and take them down if you want.

Now if you put your child in Flounders they have cribs there for the napping babies.

it is the pack n play and personally i liked it b/c our awesome room steward wd put it away and then have it ready for naptime...it does take some room so when we were getting ready for dinner it was out of the way....crib wd take too much room. just make sure u let your TA know to request one.

We will have our 18 month old DS with us and will need a pack and play. Do we need to request it ahead of time or can we request it when we get on the ship? Thanks!

Put it in your ressie so it will be there ahead of time....alas, they will not let you put in the need for a diaper genie ahead of time, but that you can ask your room steward for, and he/she will happily provide...

Since DS was 4 months old at the time and we had travel plans both before and after our cruise, we brought our own crib: Graco Travel Lite which I see now comes in many styles and colors. The Travel Lite is 30% smaller in size and lighter in weight than the full size PnP. :thumbsup2 We got the Travel Lite because I didn't check on the type of cribs prior to one hotel stay and it was bad. Let's just say they must have bought the overstock of Russian orphanage cribs from Big Lots!

Here's a pic of my daughter (10months at the time) in the pack and play that they provide. We were in a reclassified cat 6 cabin, now cat 7 #6134

One tip, bring your own sheets from home, the ones they provide are very thin!

Are you serious?? You can ask for a genie?? That's awesome!! Having two with diapers will be alot more pleasant now!!!
