They have pack n plays in the closet. I'm not sure if there's room with the couch pulled out--I think the tv is right in front of the couch--you could put it beside the couch probably. We always used it in the master bedroom beside the bed.
We used the pack and play from the closet (bring your own sheet, they offered one but it looked old). It fits right next to the couch between the table no problem.
We've been twice with DS at 7 months and at 10 months. Both times, we asked for the portacrib - and had no trouble getting it.
There is a pak and play in the room - but gosh - I sure would not want to sleep on that. DS sleeps much better in a crib with a real mattress.
The portacrib is great - but it is smaller than a standard crib. I think it's actually the same size as a pak and play. . . so if you bring a sheet - bring one that is pak and play size. The cribs are metal and are very strudy. They are on wheels and roll very easily.
If you are in a 1 bedroom - then you'll have plenty of room for the portacrib. We had plenty of room in our studio.
I would say - ask for the crib. If you don't think there's enough room - or you think the pak and play will work fine, then just send it back
I know this sounds funny but there is enough room in the one bedrooms to put the pack n play in the master bedroom closet!! Its nice and cool, dark, and away from everyone so the little one can sleep nicely!
